the rest of the "109 countries that expelled the jews" meme list is mostly jokes, it's all tiny counties, duchies, prince-bishoprics or free cites in the HRE, where there were thousands of such estates. jews getting expelled by one local lord just meant that they would move a couple dozen miles over and settle on the neighboring lords land instead.

My favourite story was Jewish Pirates in the 15th that became British privateers mainly for the justification to attack Spanish vessels legally.

Anyways there was a change in anti-Semitism in the 19th century to be about race, before that it was mainly about religion and, as far as I know, Jews concerting were accepted into the wider society.

it doesn't, because this guy knows nothing about fuel logistics at all and assumes you just gas sit up like a car. he knows nothing about how much fuel it requires for different aircraft to fly the distances they're going. to him, it's all just magic jewry, and any time the jews can squeeze a single penny out of someone else, even if it actually fucks them over. israel would clearly rather fly to cyprus and then iran for no reason at all to steal hypervaluable british jetfuel.

I've kind of bat for both sides throughout this comment section and in the US politics thread (America shouldn't put its own people at the expense of another (Israel) / Iran is retarded + funding proxies / Israel likely doesn't have purely selfless/purely self-defensive reasons to initiate this though they aren't wholly unjustified) but I'm just generally opposed to all-encompassing assertions. There's nuance to everything, even hate believe it or not, that gets neglected by the haters and the hated.

Israelis and/or Jews are in the unfortunate position (one which they did help to put themselves) of having a nation state of their own, yet often push the interest of said state abroad. This isn't unique to Jews (semi-recently, some Pakistanis in the UK government tried to push for an airport to be built in Kashmir) but doing this and pulling it off in America is what makes the group so singular both to people in and outside of America. I'd personally rather get rid of every UK Muslim than every UK Jew because the former are more of a problem, whereas in America they'd probably switch it. I think there's a sense of obligation for nationalists to hate Jews for the same reason they'd hate any other minority that refuses to assimilate.

The presence/prominence of Jews in the higher echelons of American society coupled with their fingers being in a lot of ideologically caustic pies (Zionists make it their brand they care more for Israel than where they live, Marxists don't care for where they live or anywhere else, as well as contributing a lot to feminist and queer theory) making Jews an easy target over there. Centuries of refusal to generally assimilate beyond using the local language and acting as gypsies earned Jews the same pariah-like reputation once upon a time. The establishment of a Jewish state was something of a civilising force because it stopped them moving around so often, they had a place they could point to and say: home. But the Jews outside of Israel otherwise still clung to the cultural identity that comes with their religion, which puts them at odds with the native cultures in a lot of places they inhabit, much like current gypsies.

I think it's feasible for me to posit that Jews residing outside of Israel tend to make all Jews look bad by association (feeling like an outsider despite blending in otherwise + pushing the interests of a country you don't reside in + general left-wing slant) to the right, but it relies on Jews not seeing themselves as a monolith and that the Israeli Jews can be considered distinct from the Jews outside of it. I don't interact with Israelis often so I don't know how they view Jews living outside of Israel, if they regard them at all.

What’s the goal with all this? Are they going for regime change, a specific goal or just enjoying flattening Tehran?
Or is the goal to rope in the rest of the west into the grand war against Iran that they’ve been champing at the bit for since the Blair years? We’ve had a solid decade or two of being told and primed that war with Iran is inevitable, so it must benefit someone.

no matter what the other goals of this operation may be, i would be willing to bet at least one testicle that in part, the purpose is to give a black eye to one of the loudest sandstates in the middle east, known funder of terrorists all around israel's borders, and to ostensibly set back or destroy the progress made on iran's nuclear program.

Up for debate as of now, my three fifths of an opinion is that at some point they realised just how lacking Iran's air defences and missile stockpile/security were and so decided to go in hard for as long as they could until they get enough pressure from burgerland to stop or Iran's military capabilities are removed or the state itself flips to no longer being interested in pissing off Israel
