2025 Israel vs Iran War

phone call with IDF:

"So yes, they got through, we really tried to stop the tel aviv attempts as you know they can lead to the most deaths if impacts are made. yet we saw something weird on the radar, I'll call it...'shooting a bullet through a wall of arrows' making one or 6 missiles way faster then the rest, having your higher rated interceptors go after the larger heavier ones wastes our precious seconds to stop them, which ultimately results in pass through".

-section 2-.

"I see, well it is believed at the moment that something was placed atop one of the missiles. it was likely an inert warhead meant to simulate a special kind of strike, whatever it was we shot it down thankfully, but we heard over the radios that they were prepping a 'practice run' for something. the bastards cheered as they tore through the sky, the fast missiles confused our radars and defense systems, something we have to address soon, or more lives will be lost."

section 3-

"if i have one message to your friends it is this, iran has solved multiple problems very quickly with their missile forces, and the results of these resolved problems will become very apparent in future strikes. LISTEN TO US WHEN WE SAY, GO TO THE SHELTER AND STAY THERE"

-end call-

Seems they launched too late, those arcs toward their targets were pretty dramatic but I wouldn't know
90° angle is a guaranteed miss at such velocities and Tamir interceptor is proximity explosion weapon.
Issue with such defense systems that at high mach velocities, the speed of enemy missile is greater than the speed of explosion of the said missile so even with 100% detection it is just too slow and too late.
The arcs were probably from avoidance behavior of Iran's missile. A simple 1° arc change is enough to send the iron dome system in frenzy from over compensation. You can see missiles loosing energy(velocity) and stalling in air.
My only guess would be the Israelis see no reason to put their airframes at undue risk when they can launch from safe uncontested airspace and still hit their mark. More broadly the severe disparity in technology means the airframes become too precious to be used in ways that put that technology at risk of not being recoverable/falling into the wrong hands so it becomes a strategic limitation
A single plane can wreck havoc on enemy squadron. Even the old F14 carry enough missiles to knock out 4-5 new age fighters if they sneak up on them. They are very good weapons and it's a waste to expire them chasing ghosts.
In such risky situations f35 are no better than migs or f14's. They have to fly with radars off so all they have remaining is stealth and one way comms.

Alleged Israel AD battery misfiring in the Negev area and doing a little Patriot maneuver (source):
Great footage I was wondering why there's such a big explosion and such a slow launch but the missile needs to reach orbit. They burned half of a month's supply against single strike and hit nothing.

Lol jk they're probably just heading towards a NATO exercise that's supposed to take place tomorrow between the US, UK and Finland.

they are turning too early to go to finland

I have to wonder, did the Israeli military think a counter-attack wouldn't be coming after the Iranian nuclear facilities were bombed?
not this fast i guess

To give Iran some credit, for a country that had a decapitation strike to their military leadership they had a quick turnaround when it came to returning fire. A good amount of people thought they'd just give up and sign some kind of deal after such an attack.

IRON DOME is confused!
It hurt itself in its confusion!

Gonna be honest, after three fucking years of Russia and Ukraine doing this pussy WW1 shit where you plink at each other with ancient busted garbage, it's nice to see two countries firing missiles at each other with pinpoint accuracy from 2000km away.

I'm gonna take it a step further. Did they even think this operation through at all? Beyond just assuming that Iran would capitulate or else daddy America jumps in?

US airforce in CENTCOM is MOPP level 3

looks like iranians either are going to go for chemical weapons or want Israel to think that

Ted Cruz is basically confirming that the US will intervene directly against Iran. He went on several political talk shows today and made the case for war. Since he is on the Senate foreign relations committee, he is basically delivering the party line.
I AM READY. TIE ME TO A ROCKET AND FIRE IT AT TEL AVIV. TIE ME TO A DRONE AND LAUNCH IT AT THE STATUE OF LIBERTY. TIE ME TO AN ARTILLERY SHELL AND FIRE IT AT THE WHITE HOUSE. I can't wait to see the casualties from a land invasion, nevermind the strikes on mutt bases in the MidEast.

Like it or not, it's going to happen.
AMERIBUTTS PREPARE YOUR ANUS. YOU ARE ABOUT TO DIE FOR JEWS AGAIN

So important to note a few a things which I spotted and called out earlier:

it was evident that there was priorities being made with the air defense first barrage I’m sure you all noticed there was much more impacts the reason I believe is Iran is now staggering their launches by around 3-4 minutes the first wave is a mixture of old fat heavy lower payload BMs that are trying to bait the interceptors so it looks like Israel made a coordinated decision to ignore some of the lesser yield warheads as a damage reduction type scenario you will notice the delayed second batch (3-4 mins after initial launch) were all successfully intercepted because they are the stupidly fast hypersonic during terminal phase with the 1500kg+ that have huge blast radius get priority.

Interestingly this is the second time they have tested this method which would explain why they are using smaller salvos as they’re essentially trial and erroring.

I think the IDF has a big issue on their hands especially if they are using test rockets with modified warheads to hold not to sound doom but chemical/fission related components.

This would explain why we are seeing lots of ally assets being sent in a hurry I hope I’m wrong but something is very concerning.

Cruz is saying the red line was trying to stick to nuclearizing and so they should negotiate a deal on it with the US. That's been the US position since the demands for negotiations started a couple months ago, so it's really just more of the same. Cruz then tacks on comments about how regime change would be a good thing for Iran, doesn't suggest he wants the US to force it.

Michael Tracey is reading into it as that "negotiations to avoid the US intervening" was some kind of trickery to get the US to intervene. That doesn't make sense unless you're schizophrenic.
