Right but they control all 3 branches of government. Why are they still blaming the Deep State (TM) instead of removing them or just ignoring them?
Conceptually, I don't think controlling the three branches means you can just magic away decades or more of unelected bureaucrats and political dynasties that have dug themselves into the political fabric of the country, it's not the triforce where getting all three gives you ultimate power and you become an absolute ruler that can just disappear political malcontents.

America isn't a fascist dictatorship and Trump isn't a king, even if you take every political office you'll still have public and private opposition actively blocking and even sabotaging you both directly and indirectly.
Or, could it be, that the Deep State (TM) is just an imaginary boogieman that they tell you so they can do whatever they want and blame it on them?
Boogieman? Eh, probably. Not every mistake Trump makes is the fault of some deep state mustache-twirling plot, obviously lmao, here he's just fucking up. But imaginary? Hell no. They aren't the illuminati, but every government has a political class of opportunists that didn't win a single vote who do nothing but enrich themselves and can't simply be fired, that's just an inevitable aspect of government and is sadly not unique to the US.

On a more unpolitical topic though, how have you been Hulkster? I haven't seen you in like 6 months until recently.

I doubt a draft would happen given it wasn't fired up for 20 years shooting up third world Muslim countries similar in nature to Iran in several ways.
Iran has like double the people so...I honestly wouldn't be entirely surprised but I don't necessarily expect it.

These two look like the monster of the week on The Witcher. They both look like they've been dug out of a grave
Yeah, that’s the first reaction I had, and I’d guess that’s the initial reaction most regular folks would have. I thought about it a bit more after looking at that pic and it got me thinking that there’s no way that all 3 folks involved in taking that pic knew exactly what it looks like and what kind of reaction it would invoke from plebes who cast their eyes on it. In other words, the pic is intentionally repulsive🤮.

We deploy over ME on a daily basis if you actually knew anything. Not that I think we should meddle with another desert shithole but people who know little are greatly exaggerating a situation that isn't as big as they think it is.
I think it's just knee-jerk fear. Tbh I'm ignoring my own advice of not taking what Trump says at face value since he's usually trying to negotiate/leverage. But being Israel's bitch is getting REALLY old.

As I understand it's because they exist outside the government structure or are embedded in roles with protections. In the UK our analogue for the "deep state" might be the civil service, which was able to avert the will of government through filibuster and the judiciary. These people are usually appointed, and they carry their appointers views with them even after they're gone and keep acting in their name essentially. A lot of why they do this is based on conjecture and speculation, but it isn't a partisan issue (It's a shame it's become one though — Anyone who's made the call for "money out of politics" is basically clamouring for the same thing); either the appointments were the suggestion of lobbyists or in alignment with said lobbyists, or because it guarantees hindrances to their ideological opponents, even those who reside on the same political wing.

It's a shame on voters because it enables groups outside the electoral process to directly step over them. The politicians themselves don't really have motivations to tackle it since it benefits them or their party in some way so its just ignored. The only point of contention is how organised it all is (illuminati-tier or just a natural consequence of the system) and to what varying degrees of maliciousness (if there is any) they're acting on. They might earnestly believe their intentions are good, so they'll act in opposition to elected authority - it happens.

Anyway, if I'm using the true definition of "deep state", the Trump is currently being stymied at the moment by it due to his own appointments, who were the suggestion of McConnel who pushed the Federalist Society.
The society's initial 1982 conference was funded, at a cost of $25,000, by the Institute for Educational Affairs.[13] Later funding of $5.5 million came from the John M. Olin Foundation. Other early donors included the Scaife Foundation and the Koch family foundations. Donors to the Federalist Society have included Google, Chevron, Charles G. and David H. Koch; the family foundation of Richard Mellon Scaife; and the Mercer family.[17] By 2017, the Federalist Society had $20 million in annual revenue.[1]

This serves as an example of what I mean. The "deep state" may include and interwoven with lobbying groups, think tanks, advisors, judiciary appointments, corporations, organisations, self-interested persons, etcetera. What doesn't help is that so many organisations and groups out there exist that it's difficult to even become aware of them. I only became aware of the Federalist Society myself a few months ago.

The Deep State is also a real thing by the way. I guess Trump repopularised the exact term but the idea of a section of government having more authority than they should isn't a first.
In the United Kingdom, the Civil Service has been called a deep state by senior politicians. In 2018, Steve Hilton, then advisor to David Cameron, claimed Tony Blair had said: "You cannot underestimate how much they believe it's their job to actually run the country and to resist the changes put forward by people they dismiss as 'here today, gone tomorrow' politicians. They genuinely see themselves as the true guardians of the national interest, and think that their job is simply to wear you down and wait you out."
In Iran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is often considered a significant deep state entity due to its substantial economic, political, and military power. The IRGC operates with considerable autonomy from the elected government and has been involved in various covert operations and influence campaigns. This includes control over significant economic sectors, involvement in foreign military activities, and influence over domestic policy decisions. The IRGC's pervasive influence is seen as a central component of Iran's deep state, shaping both internal and external politics in alignment with its agenda.[42][43][44][45]

It doesn't matter how much of the government you control if you're beholden to those who cannot be removed conventionally and have the power to stop you in your tracks.

Unless Iran does something immensely retarded like attack our assets in the Middle East, the Saber-rattling shall continue, and nothing shall happen. The last draft happened in 1973 and I don’t see one happening any time soon.

A decent post about a potential ground invasion of Iran, and why it almost certainly won't happen.

America would need to deploy hundreds of thousands of troops to match a Desert Storm level of force, with a much smaller army than in 1991 or 2003. America has a fairly small number of combat units for it's size, but the immense cost comes from being able to use most of them as an expeditionary force, which no other country currently comes even close to matching.

This will also take months, cannot be concealed, and will be deathly unpopular the entire time. I've already explained earlier that IMO, Israel is simply paving the way for US bombers to finish the job without risk of losses.
People are hardly reasonable during times of war.

We didn't draft for the GWOT so why do retards think they'll get drafted for Iran?
I bet it's people seeing footage of the mobilization in Ukraine and getting spooked. It's brutal but the conditions are totally different so it probably won't happen here in Burgerstan:optimistic:.
(could the Telegram Slavs not come up with a better name for it than "Bussification" though)
