I disagree. The Saints Row reboot at least let you shoot guns at things and those things would return fire competently and were actually a threat, it wasn't a good game by any stretch but the systems worked as intended mostly. This is just dire. Good to see though that the games industry can still find ways to hit rock bottom and then start digging though, at least it's entertaining to watch.

Everything MindsEye attempted to do, other games have done better. Linear open world, play Mafia. Cyber near futuristic world, play Watch Dogs. Narrative driven world, again, play Mafia or Cyberpunk 2077. Desert world? Play Red Faction. Hell, I think Crackdown would be a better experience than this.

I know you said at least 20, but it's damn near 25 years ago. It's important to point out how pathetic this shit truly is. GTA 3 already had its 20th anniversary back in 2021, 4 years ago when the shitty remaster of it came out while this was still in development.

It seems the idea with this game was to have a story mode and later give the playerbase an online mode like GTAV, while updating the game and maybe make more single player content. Sounds fine on paper but it seems they ran out of money and just slapped a undercocked story mode with a no online mode and content for free mode.

Not the worst gaming scam out there but still pretty scummy.
