Glad Slope got his shit sorted out, I've not watched him in years but his videos are pretty good. I just can't stand his accent, I think he mentioned he used to be a DJ for functions and you can fucking tell.

I caught that video a couple of days ago. Only ever watched one of his videos before, the one that got him in hot water now. Absolute top-tier, i hope YT unfucks itself somehow and Slope can continue to create content, not to mention get access to his private shit. The YT business praxis of going "You got two attempts to solve this, after that you can get fucked" without giving any help at all on how to solve the situation is simply disgusting, albeit nothing new for the platform.

You have to remember how they think, to them opposing "racism" is the same as opposing Lucifer to a die hard fundie, and I mean that in a literal sense. Anyone else having trouble with the video player just not loading? Takes different browsers and browser restarts. Are they catching onto Ublock Origin finally?

Sort of? For me the whole page reloads every ~3 seconds so there is no time to load all the tiles/other stuff on there, much less display the video player.
Which of my uBlock, adNauseam, VPN, etc. is to blame is anybody's guess.

I might be super late to this but has anyone noticed severe RAM usage with YT tabs? Especially if you're playing a playlist. I've hit +2 GB on a tab with a playlist only containing a couple dozen videos. Even regular videos take up a few hundred megabytes but I don't know how long it's been like that.

I've hit 7gigs while watching a livestream for more than a couple of hours. Streamers complain all the time of Chrome freezing on them when it's their youtube tab taking up all their RAM. Then you have Rumble where if you play a livestream for more than an hour the tab uses less than a gig of RAM.

Allow only these specific green ones, and you can get it running fine without ads. You might have to refresh the page once.

Had this happen a couple of times in the last two weeks but it seems to have fixed itself (using FF, uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger, plus Mullvad VPN).
