2025 Israel vs Iran War

Source? As Yunes and Noah were refitted in 2012 and Taregh was refitted in 2019
Nooh and Yunes were reported on some milsperg sites and Jane's as being refitted in 2023-2024 and that's the end of what I could find about them. Nooh in drydock allegedly appears in a video about the Shahid Darvishi facilities in Bandar Abbas put out by Iran a month ago but that's according to some warshipsperg twitter account so idk about that

Is this really true or is it just Zionist bullshit? Even if it's true that means the only ones who really benefit from this are the defense contractors, right? The average Americans just get screwed again.

No he won't. Polls show 75 percent of Trump voters support US bombing of Iran

Majorities of every political category – 81% of Republicans, 80% of Democrats and 68% of voters not affiliated with either major party – are at least somewhat concerned that Iran may be developing a nuclear weapon.

Seventy-three percent (73%) of Republicans, 50% of Democrats and 48% of unaffiliated voters would support the United States taking military action against Iran’s nuclear weapons program.

Seventy-five percent (75%) of those who voted for Trump in last year’s election would support a U.S. strike to destroy Iran’s nuclear weapons program, compared to 42% of Kamala Harris voters.

US and Israeli meetings are happening side by side timewise
Nuh uh. I can pull out magic polls as well

The shockwave also reflects from any solid material. Bombs in ground are way more efficient at transferring "damage" energy but there is a limit as energy still dissipates by cube law. So increasing depth from 1 to 10m means a 1000 times reduction in damage if you neglect the significant pulse reduction and bomb to enviroment mass ratio increase.
At a certain thickness, the explosion is just converted to a ground wave for which common explosions that last 1-2ms (TNT) or maybe 100 (TNT-Al/Mg) at most are really ineffective to produce.
You are goign off a bomb detonating above ground. This is a bomb going off INSIDE the ground. The shockwave can't reflect from the dense ground to the less dense air.

Iran must launch Operation True & Honest 1488 to close the kino gap before it's too late. Last few days far too many videos from 2024, videos awkshoolly from hoholstan, videos of missiles landing over the horizon with tiny little orange flashes that turns out took out some cars in a parking lot or some scrub bushes in a field

Generally, yeah. It's complicated. It's not as simple as "here is $1 billion of physical stuff sent to you Amazon prime" Same with Ukraine. It can be product, coupons, training, etc . Production ramps up at plants and employs more people and eventually the product is delivered. It also benefits the US Military not just the economy as plants increase production after often being dormant in some cases such as with javelins.

Yeah FWIW Al Jazeera is also saying polls show Americans are against US involvement. I didn’t bother sharing here because you know, it’s Al Jazeera. When I look at relatively moderate news Instagram pages like Roca there are a lot of people against it. When I look at Trump groupie pages they’re mostly supportive but in a slavish way (i.e. they seem a bit confused trying to rationalise whatever Trump does).

It’s true. The defense contractors get trillions while Americans get oil shocks.

Also that lull between 1980 and 2023 should actually be off the charts between 2001 and 2015. The War on Terror was for all intents and purposes a boots-on-the-ground military operation to defend Israel. It happened because of Israel and it was fought for Israel.

2 of them are being refitted though they might be done by now

Wikipedia: List of current ships of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy

I remember Kilo class ships from an old SSI computer game called North Atlantic '86. Back then they were relatively primitive and cheap diesel subs that the Russians would try to sneak close to US carrier groups. That was 40 years ago. I can only imagine what sort of unholy death traps they must be like now. At least they aren't nuclear-powered.

What did the Iranians refit them with? Flex Tape?

Meanwhile the new Iranian overall commander, who replaced the Iranian commander killed by Israel less than a week ago, just got killed. General Ali Shadmani lasted four days.
