2025 Israel vs Iran War

"Jews are weak! Might makes right!"
*Jews win*
"WTF THAT'S NOT FAAAIIIR!"

History is written by the winners. And the winners are not those who are the strongest, but the most adaptable.
You confuse victory with virtue, and adaptability with absolution. History may be written by winners, but decency is judged by those who can still read.

History being written by the winners is of course why we all hate the Romans and venerate Vercingetorix.

The only people who say 'History is written by the winners', has either never opened a history book, or was too stupid to read it. History is written by historians, and they're weirdos with their own agenda about long dead people.

Technical interview with professor from MIT

Iran & Israel: Who's Controlling the Skies? /MIT Prof Ted Postol & Lt Col Daniel Davis

Ca 3 min in: Israel air defence system is behaving poorly.

14 min in: Both sides airspaces are open to each others missiles.

After 20 min in they start talking about the bunker busters and the abilities od these.

Yes, history may be written by the victors but, generally, is written with a view toward the truth - if slanted.

The truth according to zionist Israelis is that they were just sitting there in the desert growing dates and not hurting anyone whatsoever until the mean Arabs came and tried to "steal" their land; they tried and tried and tried again to negotiate the sharing of the land but those goat-fucking bullies only wanted to push them into the sea, so they had to "defend" themselves... They were good little boys, you know? Dindu nuffin.

The fact is that they were an unwanted neighbor that wasn't willing to stay in their own yard that used those groups that were discussed yesterday - the Stern Gang, Ha'Shomer, et al - to violently terrorize and murder the natives and, ultimately, steal their land - on the premise that "jews" had an inalienable right to a "jewish" homeland on the land between the river and the sea, regardless of the wishes of the people who actually lived there.

Oh yes, the natives never had to leave [and some didn't] if they chose to "live in peace" - peace here meaning domination by a minority that had stolen the majority of their "homeland" and permanent status as second-class "citizens".

Those who were forced off of their land and saw their friends and families murdered in the name of Jewish Supremacy and the idol State of Israel of course didn't take it lying down and, with the help of their Arab cousins "won" Judea-Samaria from the thieves but, being the despicable people that they were - even if they were truly the aggrieved party in this instance - couldn't do anything worthwhile with it for half-a-century+ and, ultimately, became an occupied shithole facing a slow-motion ethnic cleansing the world, generally, turns a blind eye to.

Who have their own personal biases and will use primary sources that are biased.

When survival or extinction are the stakes, decency becomes a quaint luxury.

First, Israel only needed our help(defensively) and a green light. "We'll crush them. Look at our surgical strikes, bro."
Now it's "Yeah, turns out we actually need your help(offensively) to finish the job. Who knew that they would respond to our bombs... with bombs! But just bombs and airstrikes, tho! Nothing else! We promise!"
I was clear that airstrikes would be good from the beginning
Whenever Iranian accounts cite Israeli media in general it's a sign they are making stuff up. If it's concrete they cite the source
This thread is so absurdly pro-Israel, where even the "neutral" people are like "I have no skin in this game (foreskin lol!) but also I hope the jews win decisively" that I can't trust anything I'm reading here.
This thread is full of people screeching about the Jews. The news I post is neutral
Has Israel ever seen a leader as bloodthirsty and controversial as Netanyahu? He has completely outdone Begin and Ben Gurion. He’s pulling out all the Mossad tricks at once and leaving none for the next PM.

Taking out Iran’s nuclear capabilities is something a majority of Israeli society has wanted to do for years, but to do it while Israel is actively at war in Gaza and while there are still living Israeli hostages in Gaza takes some crazy chutzpah. He did warn immediately after 10/7 that he was about to open the gates of hell but I don’t think anybody anticipated the absolute level of scorched earth he would go.

It’s really hard to believe he’s not in over his head with this one.
Netanyahu is famously extremely conservative and waffles a lot, this is the first time I have ever seen someone complain that he's too aggressive

The complete lack of iran propaganda in this thread should be an obvious sign that they're just as despised as you.
I'll post Iranian propaganda as soon as they show the shot down F35 or the captured pilot. They were supposed to show evidence yesterday.

Finally got some good sleep, didn't realize I was running on empty

I remember being taught about Boudica in Primary School being some great rebel leader who fought against the Romans, only to grow up to discover she was a jobber and all her biggest accomplishments amounted to the murder of innocents and destruction of property. cough The IRA cough
Bizarrely she was fluffed up by historians at the time too. Tacitus imagined a speech she gave to her men and it's pretty good all things considered.
'But now,' she said, 'it is not as a woman descended from noble ancestry, but as one of the people that I am avenging lost freedom, my scourged body, the outraged chastity of my daughters. Roman lust has gone so far that not our very persons, nor even age or virginity, are left unpolluted. But heaven is on the side of a righteous vengeance; a legion which dared to fight has perished; the rest are hiding themselves in their camp, or are thinking anxiously of flight. They will not sustain even the din and the shout of so many thousands, much less our charge and our blows. If you weigh well the strength of the armies, and the causes of the war, you will see that in this battle you must conquer or die. This is a woman's resolve; as for men, they may live and be slaves.'
The rebellion occurred under Nero's reign about 50 years prior, and Tacitus was biased against Nero, so he might've wanted to lionise Boudica as a respectful figure to make Nero look like a faggot, but who knows.

Zionism is a cult of which I am a former member. I supported Israel during the Iraq war with catchphrases such as "Israel is our ally" and "right to defend themselves" and "Muslims are worse". Cult members simply can't see the cult as anything other than good or a victim or the lesser evil. That is why I don't normally comment in these threads.

I do not wish Israel harm in this war, but I also do not wish for Zionism to succeed in all its goals. All of these wars were planned decades in advance and it really isn't a secret that the Israel/US have wanted to give Iran the Iraq treatment for a very long time. Israel would be nothing without America, it is America's Frankenstein's monster. You may ridicule Iran for having a shitty military but its crappiness is largely thanks to the underhanded activities of the US/Israel. Kind of hard to defend yourself or retaliate against a country that's been actively preventing you from having legitimate defenses, while the nation attacking you is continually having its military boosted by its allies. People are comparing this "war" to Iraq 2.0 because Iran is not as equipped as its enemies and is more or less an invasion. Once again the two-headed Hydra is demanding full surrender and regime change.

The troubling thing about this toxic relationship is that my country (America) has been funding, sanctioning, and bullying these regimes. Then Israel gets to act tough like "we're the Rising Lions, we're coming to get ya" which they weren't able to do without assistance. We're basically the glorified muscle that does a lot of flexing to intimidate.

When survival or extinction are the stakes, decency becomes a quaint luxury.
Decency would be the first casualty in this instance rather than a luxury. They sanctimoniously clutch power, wield force, claim divine backing — then whimper about survival to excuse brutality. That’s not existential threat; that’s a religious chauvinist dressing up dominance as victimhood.

This was written by ChatGPT. I don't disagree with the sentiment or the content, but it's better when you write your own posts in your own words. Letting the AI take over does nothing but rob you of your own voice.

Adding to comments he made earlier about Iran, to reporters at the White House, U.S. President Trump states:

“Two very simple words, unconditional surrender. That means I've had it. Okay, I've had it, I give up, no more, you know, they had bad intentions. You know, the three for 40 years they've been saying death to America, death to Israel, that to anybody else that they didn't like. They were bullies. They were schoolyard bullies. And now they're not bullies anymore. But we'll see what happens. Look, nothing's finished until it's finished. You know, war is very complex. A lot of bad things can happen. A lot of terrorism. And so, I don't know, I wouldn't say that we won anything yet. I would say that, we sure as hell made a lot of progress. We’ll see, the next week is going to be very big, maybe less than a week, maybe less. But is there anyone here who said it would be okay to have a hostile, zealots really, to have a hostile country have a nuclear weapons that could destroy 25 miles, but much more than that. Could destroy other nations just by the breeze blowing the dust. You know that dusts blows to other nations and they get decimated. This is just not a threat you can have, and we’ve been threatened by Iran for many years. If you go back and look at my history, if you go back 15 years, I was saying we cannot let Iran get a nuclear weapon. I’ve been saying it for a long time, I mean it more now than I’ve ever meant it.”
