2025 Israel vs Iran War

I can’t find any verifiable sources, so it’s probably a load of hogwash. But there are reports that the top brass in Iran defected. Who the fuck knows, anymore.
Not what's happening. Top brass in Iran want to meet with the USA, the Ayatollah refuses. Very good news.

My point is that if they can make the bombs thermonuclear then that means they can make the bomb smaller but still has as much power as a regular atomic bomb, making it easier to slap it on a hypersonic rocket. Also means that they can make more nukes out of the uranium that they already have.
Yes I know, but my point is that it is irrelevant, as the US and Israel view a nuclear Iran in any capacity as unacceptable.

True, but I think what we've witnessed over the past few days is going to re-write the books on tactical nuclear weapon strategy. Well, those using a missile as a delivery system at least.

The THAAD is earning it's keep with the mid-ranged stuff and while the distances aren't huge in missile terms, they're in keeping with the kind of theatre you would deploy that kind of weapon. I think a lot of people are going to be taking notes on how this is panning out on both sides.
100%.
Iran has basically shown that there is no sure-fire way to stop a warhead from getting through.
Israel (US?) has shown that even the fast hype-erSanics can get taken down by the right ABM combos.

What I really want to see come out in the next few months/years is the actual distance between Iranian MRBM hits and assumed targets and/or "miss" vs "hit" ratios sans interference/interception.

I wouldn't believe it until I see some serious evidence.
Israel is just as capable of making up billshit agitprop claims as is Iran, doubly so if the goal is to convince Iranian grunts and mid-level commanders their leadership is either defecting or fleeing.

What I will give Israel is they tend to post actual proof of their claims (TELs getting whacked, nuclear sites getting hit, airbases being bombed) and/or have them verified by other sources (even Al-Jizzrag admitting Iran lost a bunch of brass & top scientists to Israeli strikes).
But if that proof does not get posted assume it's just as much a lie as is Iranian meme propaganda.

You do need a breeder reaction, enriched fuel and another separation process. It is very very monetary intensive. U bomb is in comparison easy to make and designs are also much easier.

he obvious problem is that 60% isn't used for anything except to refine it further to weapons grade, but it's just far enough away that a country like the US might not blow your shit up for making nukes.
Technically, sub and ship reactors run with only 80% enrichment or more so they are way more compact and responsive.

I see your point but you're looking at it from a political perspective and it's lack of an impact there; I'm looking at this from the military perspective of how tritium can very easily be utilized to strengthen their nuclear capabilities, also, are there any records of Iran buying any lithium-6 and beryllium?

If Iran was handing out any "Fusion energy" related subsidies then they might know how to breed tritium in a large enough quantity (and the possesses the knowledge) to make a functional thermonuke

Poor guy bikepacking through Iran when the shit popped off and is now trying to evade the police who would probably arrest him on sight on suspicion of spying

He managed to get an Azerbaijani visa and leave Iran. Apparently the Iran-Azerbaijan border hasn't been open for five years but thankfully they let him cross to escape out of Iran. Tiktok

Huge thanks to my friend @lavenam for helping me get an Azerbaijani visa—and to the U.S. Embassy in Baku for the emergency green light to enter the country. I’m out, and truly grateful for all your prayers, messages, and support. It’s an honor to have you following this journey and caring about my wellbeing out here in the Middle East.
The most harrowing part of the day was the exit interviews with Iranian officials at the border. No footage of that (for obvious reasons) but I’ll write more about it soon on Substack if you're curious.
And finally, to my Iranian guide Reza—there’s no one I’d rather have had by my side.
I’m out—but the conflict is just beginning. I’ll be keeping normal Iranians and Israelis in my thoughts. Especially the younger generation of Iran, who keep paying the price for decisions made by their fathers and grandfathers. There’s a phrase in Persian that roughly means: “the forgotten generation.” That feels true.
The journey continues soon. Thank you again.

I don't understand why we can't just kill these people. Iran is a relatively modern country, not just a bunch of random goatfuckers like Iraq/Afghanistan/Syria/Libya. As crazy as it sounds, killing everyone and installing a puppet government might actually work this time.
Just one more attempt at nation building in the Middle East, bro, come on, you know I'm good for it, I can quit whenever I want
