Looks like the property value is most of that. It looks like one of those now completely outdated houses that was built in the 80s around modular huge electronics and big "everything rooms" that have aged horribly. That said, the off center TV is pure laziness on their part. Probably just needs a screw tightened or something. I'm not a child rearing expert but I do know enough that cords are a major hazard along with outlets. Hopefully he's supervised when in that room but he ain't.

That notch they've got the TV shoved into is sized for a 90s plasma TV- absolutely bonkers looking to modern eyes, but it was very popular to shove them into a sized recess in the wall to make them look sorta like modern flatscreens would. They looked like this, and they cost more than a decentish new car; the one pictured probably cost as much as a mid-trim Honda Civic at the time:



So really, the wild part of that notch is that Becky can't even afford a TV that big in an era when giant TVs are <$1000.

If they had ANY money and/or planning skills, the shelving would be in that "TV" spot and they'd have a bigger flat screen on the wall with all the IKEA shelves. But, as suspected, they're broke.

I sympathize that it can be frustrating to post here if you have a connection to a person in the orbit of a lolcow.

Others can correct me if I'm wrong, but even though the thread talks some shit about people around Becky, we don't really have animosity towards Jackson, Sam, Daniel, Hannah, or most others around Becky, even if negative things are said about them sometimes.

There's two things you probably need to accept if you're going to post here:
- Your connection is going to catch some strays while people are talking shit about the lolcow.
- You're on an anonymous gossip forum about internet personalities. People will speculate, people will post wrong or dumb opinions, people will exaggerate, people will be meaner than they would be in person.

The best advice I can offer: ignore the noise, avoid arguing even if others are wrong, and just post your insights. Easier said than done, I know. There's nothing wrong with a single attempt to correct the record, but extended arguments are pointless and dumb. Contrition is rare on the internet, and isn't worth seeking.

Becky comes off as a conglomeration of Cluster B disorders and a deeply toxic & miserable person on social media. We'd appreciate your insight as to how that meshes with real life.

Generally with people who orbit lolcows - there's gonna be some discussion and shifting opinions on them.

Like - this thread liked to theorize that Jackson and Daniel at least kept each other cozy when Bex gets hyper obsessed over a new partner. But I believe the reality is more humdrum - Jackson likes being cucked, not being pegged & Daniel's always seemed too hetero to be Bi. I think they might band together to play video games or watch movies occasionally but that's it.

The thread also kind of shuttles between some pity for Bex's partners, but ultimately - they are all choosing to remain in a relationship with a literal emotional cuckoo that takes, and very rarely gives anything in return. For Jackson it seems to work for him because of the cuck fetish, Daniel...not sure why he stayed so long, but maybe he likes the open relationship element? Sam's main issue is his self-esteem is in the toilet from what we can tell, and also he moved in with the group - so he needs to keep the peace, unless he wants to go back to his old place.
