when someone has sunken so low, he's way beyond the point where he would feel shame or give a shit about his reputation.
if you go to an ai for romance, it means you have completely given up on ever being part of the normies, and that also means you no longer care about what they think or say about you.

Honestly, someone having an AI girlfriend is equally creepy as trooning out. Both show such a rejection of reality and societal norms that I cannot see it as anything but suicide with more steps. It's a terrible trend that will hopefully die out.

it basically announces to the world that not only are you a complete and utter social failure, but that you have accepted and embraced this status and have no desire or intent to change it. kind of like an unrepentent junkie who knows full well that the drugs are destroying his life and future but continues to take them anyway.
