I'm pretty sure his voice is out there which sounds decently masculine (I guess not hard to do with testosterone) but I could be confusing him with someone else. That's likely the case but I don't really know for sure. Until anything comes out proving otherwise he's just a dude to me.

Recently Near, a popular UTAU creator/cover artist, posted a whole thread about another "cover artist" (really justs uses RVC for everything) named dumbDINA. Apparently the dude's a crazy stalker or something. Seems like a mostly ragebait-y troll not over the age of 11, but has been accused of some crazy shit so I was sort of wondering what the deal was. All day there's been a weird influx of Korean xitter accounts spamming this guy with threats for editing the photo. To the point of them having to go private. Unsure if any sort of perceived "action" will be taken but the outrage over this is sorta baffling me. Especially the unprofessional, almost threatening response from the company. The Koreans are treating the joke post as its some sort of "cultural disrespect".

In regards to the Miku/UNI edit "controversy" and ST Media's weird threat, they released an official apology thread. Clxudino deleted the Miku edit xeet and seemingly a bunch of posts related to it and no other statement has been made. It's not to be assumed any actual legal action was taken, but still a strange controversy nonetheless.

If you've been keeping up with VOCALOID6 developments, or any commercial vocal synth developments, you're probably aware that WhiteCUL/YukiCUL is in development for VOCALOID6.
Older VOCALOID fans may recognize the name "CUL" as a VOCALOID3 voicebank released a long time ago to decent popularity. In her "lore" she apparently has many sisters, with WhiteCUL being one of them. Other characters in the CUL extended universe were considered for VOCALOID, but never really got into the stage of development that WhiteCUL did. ROSA ended up on SynthV, REV ending up on DeepVocal, and the WhiteCUL having a successful VOICEVOX release in 2022 before her VOCALOID developments.
Developed by ZAN-SHIN Co., Ltd. and distributed by Internet Co., Ltd., she was meant to be finished and released for the VOCALOID engine in late 2024 thanks to bountiful crowdfunding money.
Though, that crowdfunding money is where things get interesting. It starts on April 26th, where the the mostly in-character official xitter account for WhiteCUL posts a statement mentioning that a bar in Canada called "39Party" has been using the CUL characters without the company's knowledge. Keep this "39Party" in mind for later.

The 39Party statement alleges that they actually are working on a report and haven't received any sort of new contract. Also ZAN-SHIN was targeting the bar instead of the store, which was what was selling the WhiteCUL products.
Shortly after this, on the 27th, the alleged voice provider of WhiteCUL, Tsumika Oda, (who was previously unrevealed) accused ZAN-SHIN of not properly compensating her for her work and threatening her for taking out a loan to attempt to get some sort of financial compensation. She was apparently paid less than half she was owed, but it isn't really stated how much she was owed for the work. She also implied that her account was stolen.

I think that’s all, I understand if you are still mad and are not willing to accept any of my words, I’ll not take down this video, and again I will not change my opinion on this matter, thanks to that person who reach me willing to talk without any prejudice with me, as I said to her I’ll pray for all who suffer gender dysphoria that’s something I cannot understand since never experienced that on my life but I can understand that is something very painful to them, I pray for them to find freedom in God, bc only in Him we find our true identity that goes beyond sex or gender, we are His children and he create us perfect, he never makes mistakes, and if he allow some of us to deal with stuff that cause us pain is to let us know that His love is greater than any thought, pain, genetic condition, illnesses, sickness… His love shine over all our wounded humanity and I wish you all to find His Love that is more than just being nice to each other but to seek the wellbeing of each other.
