It was alright. The skits are very mid, and I feel like the main problem was the pacing. It wasnt that they dragged on but more like there wasnt enough "comedic hits" per minute, I couldnt remember any specificly memorable or clever lines. improv is usually mundne until someone delivers a solid hit, if they were going for that style it probably would have worked better to film long scenes and then cut out everything but the gold, but it felt like they filmed exactly as much as they showed and didnt trim anything. Just compared to WKUK or Eric Andre it didnt feel as "buttoned up".

That’s your assumption, I like media that gets a reaction out of me whether that’s positive or negative out of me. I think one of the best movies of recent times is “Killing of a Sacred Deer” because I FUCKING HATED watching it. I think something being memorable is more important than practically anything. Just by having this pointless back & forth rises the value of Extreme Peace for me.

I don’t know why you want to make this thread a circle jerk. That’s the most boring thing possible for a Sam Hyde thread.
 
I think the niggers here whining about the middling reviews of the first episode will be totally vindicated next week when episode 2 blows everyone's mind with hilarious original sketches that are not retreads of wp1.

It's so funny to me to have the MDEIDF jump
in and try to pull damage control over people on a basket weaving forum not tottally gushing about how great their E-Daddy's new project is.

Look I like Sam, I think he can be very talented comedian, but a lot of the time recently, he just phones it in because he knows the roaming band of fatherless zoomers he's cultivated as his new audience have formed an unhealthy parasocial relationship with him and will eat it up regardless.

If it's any consolation to anyone crying about EP not getting a good Kiwi Farms Rotten Tomatoes score, I think it's a major improvement over the Gumroad content, which outside of a few gems was extremely lazy and not that funny, and very clearly driven by what his irony poisoned, pornsick, weed addicted Zoomer crew would laugh at.

I just really hope the full season isn't just a retread of Moms where they get random actors and "social experiment" them (aka just calling them retarded and act like its subversive for the nth time). Both the Daddy Dom and the Football sketch fell flat for me (the latter being a bit more egregious than the former) but the vicodin sketch was exactly what I wanted minus the toilet humor. Nick turning into the old lady was genuinely funny and she perfected the part too. So far a bit underwhelmed but not entirely unsatisfied. The beginning sketch with the people saying generic inspirational shit was funny too even though it was just the "One People, One Planet" sketch retread.

need to see an interview between Sam/Nick and the old guy that walked off set to prove that they didn't just harass him. probably going to need a Third Party there as arbitrator to confirm the old guy isn't paid off. nobody believes Pedo Hyde's lies. he has an extensive track record of lying
this won't save the show but it would be good to set the record straight. EP2 is going to be even worse cause they frontloaded their "best" stuff in EP1

If you didn't like episode one and won't be watching anymore episodes, give this post an "agree" react. If you hate Sam Hyde and didn't watch episode one and don't plan on it at all, scroll back a page and give rasinloves most recent post a "dumb" react.

Watched the first episode of WP2, or "Extreme Peace". I didn't laugh, but I do like the actor abuse, probably fake, but I hope/pretend it's not, fuck actors! Some parts are dragged out, some dope graphics. I will give the rest a watch since there is nothing better out there.

Redpilled is really in a league of its own and is easy to identify. Based and cringe can sometimes be hard to differentiate and can sometimes even fluctuate. Normie podcasts are a safe bet and can be uploaded in full to YouTube without breaking any content policies. I have no idea what a cucked podcast sounds like because I'm not gay nor have ever engaged in gay activities.
