Iran hates America for incredibly uncomplicated and petty reasons. They want us dead because we have burgers with bacon and don't have to fast once a year for a month. There is also a degree of jealousy that Iran can trace it's history back thousands of years but is still a backwater while America is 250 years old and is the police department of the world.
