Oklahoma City has dropped a 300,000 pound bunker buster bomb on Tyrese Halliburton's calf.
The problem with the WNBA is that it doesn't have to run at a profit. Because the NBA subsidizes them anyway, so the WNBA can make as many stupid decisions as it wants and the people running it will still get paid. Louis Rossman did a good video where he said that getting Google money was the worst thing to happen to Mozilla, because now they can fuck up with impunity and not worry about it because they still get Google money, so Google can skirt anti monopoly laws. The WNBA has something similar going on.

If OKC lose, do you think there's a chance SGA gets finals MVP anyway? Jerry West said that winning finals MVP after losing the finals was the worst moment of his career. Wonder if SGA would feel the same way.

Kinda. When the NBA took over the WNBA they also had to take ownership of four teams for a while. The rev share was set up to be very owner-friendly since they knew they could prop up league finances themselves and needed to attract owners.

Most womens teams had folded (pour one out for the Milwaukee Does) so the NBA essentially took the position of "hey come buy a team we'll keep this shit running forever and you can keep the vast majority of the money."

The league itself has very few ways to generate revenue. Teams are profitable. The league isn't.

To further harness his black magicks, considering they're down double digits heading into the 4th (the time they refocus).
The Lakers won the 1980 finals with Kareem out injured in the closeout game because Kareem taught Magic the skyhook. Hopefully Halliburton has taught Siakam how to shoot a bullshit off balance long two at the buzzer over the top of two defenders. So history can repeat, and an injured star can see a big game won with his own signature shot.

The shitty reality of all this is that the pacers will not make it back to the finals with this squad. Even if hali comes back 100% the odds they make it out of the east again are slim.

I think it's funny, that even with the ref's clearly favoring them (to the point of many calls being kinda sus...), the Knicks still managed to blow it. If they were an actual strong team, they wouldn't have gone to 6 games, barely scraping by - they would have swept the court.

In the Knicks' fans defense, those sorts of victories are quite rare, so they celebrate quite hard when they come around once in a blue moon 🤣

Anyway, speaking as an Okie, the Thunder will win ⛈️ I know a bunch of fellow natives who did sacred prayer dances out in the woods to increase the Thunder's luck on the court and ensure total victory 😶‍🌫️🥳🙌 Manitou don't fuck around when it comes to basketball 👀
Pascal's Siakam's dark magic could not overpower the Manitou:

Praise the Manitou's divine protection, for they do not fuck around when it comes to basketball 😶‍🌫️🥳🙌

Yeah the Pacers are fucked. Haliburton isn't coming back at all next season, and even if he does, there's not a chance in hell the team is going to be in a spot to be competitive anyway. That's $49 million down the drain. Siakam, for some insane reason, makes literally the exact same amount. He's going to have to be their star whether anyone likes it or not. That is a very grim place to be.

They have to resign Myles Turner too. They'll have no money to spend on anyone worth a damn after that. Their only draft pick this year is at #54. They are doomed. I am pleased.
