The Arab States are monarchies. Monarchies don't give out honorifics by accident. They are very careful to make sure everyone's title and mode of address is appropriate. You are probably correct that its a signal they are ready to accept the unacceptable that Israel is just going to be a thing in the middle east for now.

The Sunni Arab Monarchies view Israel as less of a threat to their existence than they do the Ayatollah's. Most of them would be thrilled to see Iran return to being a mostly secular Monarchy. The two things they really don't want is the current Iranian Shia Theocracy, or a thriving secular Muslim democracy in the Middle East. As either would be bad for them. (No Pakistan does not count. They are neither thriving nor a functional democracy)

Been seeing some cope and seethe over the strikes. People are claiming that the IRGC was able to evacuate all the equipment and cascades and thus the strike didn't do or mean anything. Upon closer inspection, it looks like they had trucks actually filling in the base.

I doubt they had the time to do much. The strategy with bunkers and escape shafts is to fill them with sand that you can then dump into the empty space or have machines to dig yourself out. Us nuclear launch sites are made like that.
Sand won't compress and shaft will still retain integrity once it is emptied. These things are still just a coping mechanism as the protocol is established that you cannot count on getting out in direct nuclear detonation. If there is no outside help you may just die in there.
Iranians do have some know how but there is no way they would evac everything. It takes months to just assemble centrifuges.

Remember, Iran never thought Trump would actually strike the site and there was real talk about Mossad special forces going in with boots on the ground to take out Fordow the hard way. It was part of the deception that played out on the world stage. Mind you all of this is taking place while Khamenei is hiding in his bunker, leadership, command and communication are in chaos and people are evacuating Tehran. If I am second in command, given the signs I am seeing, it makes sense why they would fill in the bunker as opposed to evacuating the site with all the equipment.

Filling just the entrances is a saving grace in a way. Site with no exits/entrances is dead and reestablishing a collapsed tunnel is really a nightmare, especially if 50m of ground above is pure rubble that will just fall in the moment you remove some. Just removing it is a huge death trap because you have to stabilize the section that may collapse on your head in any moment.

The B2 really is an amazing piece of work and it even sounds unique. Its a shame so much of America's creative and economic energy has been directed to war instead of other things. But in stuff like the B2, you can still see the "spirit" of a people who built a 3,000 mile railroad across an entire continent in the middle of the 19th century.

It's bonkers to think that thing's a 40 year old design.

That is one thing I won't fault Carter for, the cancelation of the B1 project. They showed him preliminary work on the B2 and he couldn't exactly run around saying "Hey no we've got a way, way better plane in the works!"

I always kind of wonder about that. Even with the improved GE F110 engines the F-14B's were always felt to be a bit underpowered. And the F-35's single P&W F135 puts out more thrust than the F-14's 2 engines. On what I presume to be a lighter airframe?

It is lighter frame and F-35 has flat nozzle which reduces thrust further. Sadly, the 14 is just obsolete, even with upgrades. Trust to weight is around 10% difference to benefit of F-14
