To comment on this, it has become extremely popular, particularly with women, and particularly young ones with an "interest in psychology" (tarot and crystals don't count you fucking morons). I think this is partially due to the advent of psychology and the prolific amount of information widely available to everyone now on the topic, it has infiltrated almost every level of our society and the cultural psyche, so it's easy to see why it is brought up so often. However, there is a difference between having a degree (usually multiple in the field), doing research, doing practicum hours with real patients while supervised by a professional and being critiqued on your technique and line of questioning, writing theses on the subject after (again) extensive research, and a full-blown career in the subject with decades of practice. Skimming over an article or two on psychopaths when thinking about your ex-boyfriend does not mean he is one and is textbook confirmation bias. Calling their ex a "psycho" or "narcissist" also gives these particular women a certain level of clout amongst friends and the internet at large. They "survived" something, some "horrific abuse" (read the man setting boundaries or making mistakes), and are "recovering from a toxic relationship" so everyone better be nice to them and super permissive of their behavior because they are "going through something."

Ellen may indeed have had an abusive relationship in the past, this is fair game given abuse statistics amongst women perpetrated by men. However, I am often a skeptic on women who repeatedly bring up said abuse either in unrelated topics or completely unprompted. Abuse is horrible, it is almost guaranteed you know a woman in your life who has experienced some form of abuse while growing up as an actual woman (fuck off MTFs and please 41%), BUT other harpies like Ellen latch onto this painful subject and use it as a weapon to make people feel bad for them all the while lying about the supposed perpetrator and likely actual victim: their former partner. Abuse also, depending on the country, age demographic, area, or gender orientation, can be extremely shameful and victims are sometimes told to keep it secret as to not stir trouble or they internalize the abuse and are ashamed to tell people about it. People like Ellen tell fucking everyone they can about it because that sweet, sweet attention is a siren they cannot resist, no matter how horrible the topic or accusation.

There is a myriad of factors here, and I do wonder, mostly speculation, that Ellen's husband on some level knows Ellen will seek out this behavior and turn on him in an instant as soon as he does anything to displease her, literally anything. Which is why she gets away with being a dumpy, tweet-happy, child-neglecting, narcissistic, complete whore whose sole contribution is her quirky chungus comic on Reddit. He has to put up with her behavior or risk defamation, ostracization, divorce (God, I hope he does this) and even losing the custody of his kids to this bitch. That's enough to make anyone contemplate suicide. Ellen grifts online and offline by the power other people let her wield because she's a bitch who will do crazy shit if you displease her and will try to get away with it and probably has before.

Tl;dr: Ellen is a nasty piece of work who weaponizes and co-opts actual victims' trauma to bolster herself with no remorse and probably holds it over her husband's head she will defame him and ruin him if he dares ever defy her.

At first I thought you were talking about our tinfoils. Ellen is definitely a piece of work. I wanted to like her, but her treatment of her kids makes her irredeemable. If doing porn online under your real name (and adding cartoons of your kid adjacent to it) isn't child abuse, it should be.

I personally believe that she had an abusive boyfriend. (Foil) Jeff is a nice guy, but probably emotionally immature. Ellen may have lovebombed him and turned her people pleasing up to 11 just to get a new boyfriend to replace the old one. Had kids to seal the deal. I suspect their sect dislikes divorce or they would've done it.

Her childhood interests me more, anything could've happened. She had a middle child complex if we can believe her.

She and Jeff are just stuck in a stale marriage. Maybe they both irritate each other in harmless ways. They dislike each other, but only because they aren't compatible. If Jeff was abusive she would've posted something for pity by now. Hopefully Jeff would've left if she was abusive. They may just be roommates to each other.

Somehow this reminds me of Bike Cuck's comics (Shen/Owlturd for the uninitiated, wonder if he has a thread on here already), he often slaps on names to simple drawings like "Life" or "Personality A", or "Sadness", whatever and uses it for comedic purposes, results vary. However, at least Bike Cuck has consistent style, a decent following, and sometimes actually has a funny comic or two even with said lazy props. Ellen seemingly has none of this: her sub is completely botted, do not buy for a second that not only over 10,000 people have seen her shitty comic but also took the time to updoot it. Her art is stale, she has not improved in years, her characters are strawmen incarnate, she is always the victor in every interaction, raping fans for disagreeing with her (notice how it was a white man as Ellen would never have sex/rape people of color, interpret that as you will), her comic lacks wit and insight, and she posts her nasty vag for all to see AND posts comics that feature her children, sometimes right after her nasty and unsexy porn. She is mediocre at best, and I think that kills her inside.

I think the biggest reason her ‘comics’ are attracting fire from multiple directions is that they are spiteful. While wearing a cloak of moral superiority she engages in smears, ad homs and character assassination. She reveals, not conceals, the narcissistic darkness behind leftist comics. There’s rarely anything positive, uplifting or thought-provoking.
She could do the quirky chungus with an oddball family thing but everything is either a snide attack on an easy target, narcissistic self-indulgence, or cat jokes.

I hope you really like cats Ellen, because as soon as your husband gets sick of your whorishness and your kids get tired of being fodder for your shitty cartoons, cats are going to be all you have left. And even that’s because they don’t have the choice of leaving.

That's a good point, it's something I find very off-putting about a lot of """political opinions""" these days (and especially the leftist ones it seems) - the goal isn't to inform, express a value, or even entertain so much as it's primarily about cheerleading a screaming session over the designated bad man of the hour. As trite as the 1984 comparisons are, the Two-Minute Hate was distressingly accurate.
