The delivery driver did himself a solid by calling the cops once he got boxed in - created a paper trail with what actually happened and basically prevented Fatrick from complaining to the head office that his shitbox car got damaged and they're liable for repairs.

Generally I don't like the criteria for "disorderly conduct" in most areas because you could be breaking a law with normal behavior, but practically it's only used by police to punish people who are stopping them from investigating a potential crime. It is technically a criminal complaint, but it's like a speeding ticket. You don't go to court unless you want to fight it and plead not guilty. Otherwise you plead guilty or no-contest and pay the fine. You do this just by filling in a form and mailing it with your cheque to the court clerk.
In Rick's case the record says that his plea was entered by a defense attorney, which is pretty unusual. You usually don't bother with an attorney unless you're facing jail, a huge fine, or a driving suspension. It's possible that his attorneys at Strang Bradley made him sign an agreement at the outset, stipulating that he would notify them in case he ever gets in trouble with the law during the ongoing MPD litigation. So that they can try to sweep it up.

Thats been my experience too, and usually if you slip them an extra $20-$50 they’ll help you haul some stuff around.

My normal persons response to seeing their car boxed in would be along the lines of ‘gee golly gosh, I am a bit of a retard today, could you move those things so I can pull my car out and park it elsewhere? I’ll give you an extra $20 and there’s some cold beer/soda if you want some’.
