Anuddah thought to meditate on...
The only reason the beleaguered delivery man called the cops was because fatrick was (fatly) blocking his vehicle from leaving, so how many more times has this shit occurred but pig man was not able to waddle into position fast enough or was made to feel intimidated enough to back off?
Also despite the fence materials being installed in march, it seems he only actually put up the new fence/watched Nikkki put up the new fence this month
I'd say there's another reason for Patrick's temper tantrum, besides just alcoholism and being on a power trip:
Pat doesn't want that fence up at all.
I assume that it was either Niki or Lynne that insisted on the fence going up, because it would solve 99% of their issues with Craigslist. Missing chairs? No longer an issue. Missing patio tables? Also not an issue. Dan Mullen walking by his backyard? Patrick can't see Dan, and Dan can't see him. In fact, you'd think if the "vandalism" he had before was a real thing, he would have had that fence up years ago.
However, that's going to crimp his style as the "world's most SWATTed man" and the perennial victim of "cyber-stlakers" that somehow use the Internet to commit "crimes against [his] family." If people can't get into his backyard, then there would be no more Twitter posts about what dastardly deeds the stlakers did to him that day. And if he tries to manufacture evidence, like he's been known to do? People are going to wonder how that happened
when there was a fence in the way. And of course, Fatrick is going to lash out at the one person that's going to be the beginning of the end to all of that -- the delivery driver.
I guess this explains why it took them several months to get the fence built. Patrick most likely put it off as long as he could, but Niki or Lynne just took it upon themselves to hire some workers. They left enough remaining wood so he could build a flower bed and at least get some Twitter engagement.
I wonder if Niki stood there drinking a Yuengling looking bemusedly at Patrick, when he cut first and measured twice afterward?
