Tamers12345 - Autistic Sonic and Bartleby Shipper and Video Maker

Maybe I'm just tweaking, but did Bartleby seem a but out of character in that movie? I don't recall him ever cowering over a threat, so hearing him openly concerned about something like the Powerpuff girls feels out of character.

Also fuck tamers for only putting knuckles in that dance sequence and nothing else man. He's a fuckin baddass
The few frames of Knuckles going femboy yandere mode is also confusing. I'm not sure what that is meant to imply.

He has his rare moments of humility. Like how freaked out he looked when he accidentally shat in the swimming pool.

Also, remember in "The Greatest Sleep Over Ever" Bartelby runs from Bobby Moonbeam, and doesn't kick his ass until much later.

The great tragedy isn't just that SU has been thrown aside, but that it was thrown side in favor of the most generic and safe content possible. It would've been bittersweet to see Tamers make a grand finale with a nice send-off, but instead we're just left alienated as the community gets replaced by teenage girls, the humor forgotten in favor of melodrama, and all without knowing if or when SU will actually come back. Tamers is immensely talented, and that's a big reason as to why all of this sucks. The most unique show on the internet replaced by generic plotlines and boring characters!

I don't expect a grand finale. Hell, if he just went and said "Yeah that 9/11 one was the last video. That's it." That would be fine. I'm just tired of being dragged along with no information whatsoever. He said It would come back 2025, did he mean just that single appearance or will there be actual SU videos? Who knows he refuses to speak on it at all. I was fine with him being a mysterious personality who doesn't interact with fans just giving out breadcrumbs, but it becomes increasingly frustrating to see him fully embrace the new community, going so far as to coddle and reassure them there would be more pony videos very soon at the first possible hint of it ending, mean while he has not spoken publicly about the state of SU since December, and all it was then was "2025". The only time you can get an answer out of him is if you hound him on patreon since he's more inclined to reply since you're paying him, and even then it'll still be vague "yeah there will be SU at some point."

The closest thing we have to confirmation right now outside of him just vaguely saying, “yeah, I just want to wrap up all these plot lines first” is that new frame of Flora he randomly posted that one day. I’m confident that he’s true to his word, but even then I’m still on the mindset of “ponies until further notice.”

What's got me all crotchety is if for the foreseeable future, the Sonic Underground we get will always come with the caveat that it has to be shared with the MLP stuff. The bronies are continually reassured they'll get new episodes, more plotlines, but we are thrown a pity bone that 'eventually SU will be here'.

One potential thing that worries me is about the potential erasure or slimming down of the Sonic Underground cast's usage. Mindy had one line. Aleena had maybe four lines. Manic was present throughout but he was noticeably quiet despite appearing just as much as the other Sibs. Less frequent appearing characters Trevor and Cyrus appeared sure- but Trevor had three lines. Cyrus had five, being meaningfully in the episode as much as the main cast. Brick had 10 lines, and he wasn't even present in the episode beyond a flashback. Maybe it's just the 'tism working too hard but I fear the promise of 'more Sonic Underground' will have a few unwanted clauses underpinning it. The Sonic Underground reduced to guest star status, being made to share time with the ponies in hour-long specials with preference given to the ponies. Waggle the keys for the Sonic Underground cast for a few minutes, and then the majority of an hour for ponies. Granted one episode isn't enough to make bold predictions for the future, but can you blame me?

Characters like Raphi, Farrel, Captain Squeege, hell even slightly more common ones like Sleet and Dingo, are basically fucked if that ends up being the case. Might see them once every few years.

Its called Sonic Underground and not Mindy or Aleena underground. But I get what you mean. Honestly who knows what the future holds, and the only guy that knows right now is Tamers. Kayfabe off, the episode could've been cut in half and it would've been peak SU. The whole abusive lezbo shit probably SHOULD have been its own episode as it was narrative whiplash

I know I'm a Florafag, but having favorite characters who aren't Bartleby or the main three Sonic Underground is fine. All it does is prove that Tamers is excellent at characterizing his creations, even bit players grow fandoms. I might be the only person alive who was sad to see Mandy die, since she was typically entertaining and moved the plot along reliably.

Oh yeah, Sleet and Dingo- who's last episode I think was the Christmas special of 2023.
Maybe we'll see 'em again for the Christmas special of 2025?
They were in the goodwill video accompanying Robotnik, but they didn't really get to do anything. Raphi and The Oracle were also in that one. It really sucks to see lesser used characters finally start to appear more often just before the entire series went on hiatus. I was really looking forward to him using Max more because of his new voice.

ah my bad, I forgot they were in that episode, and now I remember Titus, Jared's Ma, and Bobby Moonbeam being in that episode. But still not a good look I figure to have Robotniks two henchmen appear once a year.

on a sidenote, I've always found it strange how little the Swatbots appear. There was a really prominent role filled by a Swatbot in the bowling two-parter, and then we never see them appear much after that.

I've wondered if Metal Sonic could appear. He's not Modern Sonic and could be a decent foil to Sonic in theory: a robot incapable of shitting himself, incapable of falling in love, incapable of being raped. Just a purely hateful tool invented by Robotnik. One of Sonic's character arcs has him feeling like he has become a useless fat bitch. A robot constructed to be better than him could reignite the coals on that plot point.

I think if Metal Sonic were to appear it'd be some Modern Sonic fans (or SEGA's) invention trying to swipe the glory from the Sonic Underground. But I do like the concept of it being a proper 'anti-Sonic'. It'd have no big slappable ass, it wouldn't be Bartleby's pudgy boy, just simply existing to destroy the Sonic Underground. Though the concept does veer perhaps too close to the questions raised about the rest of the Sonic cast, if we have 'Metal Sonic', then it might open the door to more Carlos-esque incidents.

It's amazing how so many people have been begging for any SU content for ages with Tamers on his pone arc, and they finally get it and still throw a tantrum that it wasn't good enough.
It's great that Tamers loves SU and his 'tism keeps him drawing it because goddamn, imagine having 'fans' that don't want him to ever branch out and do what he wants.
