Some Mald posts from discord last night.
I hate the fuck out of Blizzard and went indie for a reason but go off I guess.

Jason is seething and doubling down in the comments section of his Goodbye MYM video
"I remember playing in MYM! There was this one really cool and popular dungeon someone built that I'd love to experience again."- an utterly unthinkable scenario.

From the moment that Ross made his video rebuking Mald, the initiative has been surpassing that daily average they'd need to catch up, for the past maybe two or three days. As we speak, while it's still just about late morning in the middle of Europe (assuming UTC+2), about 20 thousand have been added today alone, after just 10 hours of the whole day today.
I realise this is going to be yet more :optimistic:-poasting in the eyes of some, but I do want to reiterate this point with another status update on the tracker. In just under 5 hours since that initial post of mine, the initiative has accrued another almost 9 thousand signatures, and as we speak the ticker seems to be increasing by a rate of at least one signature every three seconds or so.

1750856923720.webp1750856941147.webp

Not long prior to this, Belgium also became the 8th country (out of the 7 minimum required) to have surpassed its own signature threshold. France and Spain are following very closely to be the 9th and 10th countries to do so, being just short at the moment by about 1,600 and 2,000 signatures respectively.

Even other countries which were previously lagging behind a harder have been picking up the pace now. Romania, for example, has gone up from the 55.5% it had some time last night, to just over 60% at this current moment, following the addition of about 1,100 signatures in the last 16 hours.

I'm not going to get my hopes up too high as I imagine the rate of new signatures will slow down drastically after a week or so, but if SKG pulls a miracle comeback specifically off of hate for Jason I'm gonna lose my mind laughing. Jason haters will have done more good for the games industry than Jason's whole career.

Nigger [Thor] if you read this i can help you understand why everyone shitting on you all of sudden.
Alexa open a secure virtual ssh tunnel via port 22 to Gork mainframe... Grok run a simplifying algorithm on Virtual Machine and explain the situation to this nigger.

Code:
#Beep-Boop
> Nigger in question (aka Jason Maldavius Niggerfaggot Thor Hall) had a
shittake on wholesome movement led by a fun(gi) guy Ross Scott to prevent evil corpos
destroying videogames.

> Shittake on its own not a crime but Nigger (still) has a sizable audience, and
misrepresented the movement by his sheer incompetence.

> As usual The nigger quintupled down, his 2 part video series about the topic actually the
3rd 4th segment of his shittake streak because he had 2 live stream (which is long deleted) in which
he sperged about the SKG movement.

>Ross immediately made a FAQ video about SKG deliberately avoiding to mention the nigger
in a sense to avoid drama.

> Nigger shittakes remained unchallenged for 10 month. (Mainly because Ross is a chill guy
who above all jewtube slop)

> At the end of the SKG campaign Ross compelled to tie this loose end
( aka the nigger shittakes) because he believe he owed his supporter for this.
And called out Thor

> Nigger thinks he all of a sudden got blamed for the failing of the movement, which is half true
The nigger getting the flak because his inability to reconsider his position abot his shittakes.

> Alos the nigger simply refused to talk to Ross when Ross offered him a chance
to iron out the misunderstandings.

I don't understand Grok! SIMPLIFY!

Code:
#Beep-Boop
>Jason Maldavius NiggerFaggot Thor Hall is a massive narcissistic furry faggot who
burger burping retarted nonsense on the internet.
His takes in things just as shallow as his
game development carrier.

Thx Gork.

Good indie studios are on the rise.
I will believe it when I see it. If don't see a /pol-chud Deus Ex like game or some kind of a TND simulator, there won't be any indie studios worthy of support.

I hate this nigger so much. Parts of the experience is better than non at all. He really promoted by the algorithms to shill the "You'll own nothing and you'll be happy" meme.

Same as SPORE, guess what! Still a good game offline. Barebone, yet still fun.

That game is honestly better offline because 99% of the user generated content, which was added to the game without running it by you, was phallic. Penis monsters, penis buildings, penis spaceships. Beautifully naive.

Don't try to apply logic to Mald's reasoning.
He doesn't argue because he genuinely thinks it's good. He has his own agenda as an industry plant and corporate shill. Let me remind you: he is associated with Offbrand Games, who are publishing a live service online only game. This whole initiative is a conflict of interest to him. That is the true reason and I don't think anyone can convince me otherwise.
Once again - fuck you, Jason, you spineless cowardly talentless hack.

I like to think that he's mad because his genius method of making a game 'unpiratable' doesn't really fit with the idea of game preservation, but it's probably not that deep and he's just trying to appear clever by being contrarian.

And it would be possible for a game like this to allow players to host their own repositories of user-generated content, the game would just need to be able to pull content from a different server. However, that wouldn't be as good as playing the game during its peak so it should just die. Truly a brilliant take.

Not only is Rivals of Aether 2 live service only, it's an online-only sequel where "any mod support would come far after launch" to a game that is offline-capable and thrives off of being highly moddable.
Jason is not only part of a company just producing new GaaS corpo slop, but a company snatching up the IP of existing indie games to steal their soul and convert the husk to highly monetizable GaaS corpo slop (which also occasionally funnels some of that money to his personal ferrschwitz).

You think you hate Jason enough, but you don't.

"You can not preserve a games true intentions by saving the files"
This is so stupid I don't know where to start. Little Big Planet for instance, Media Molecule wiped the servers getting rid of user generated content all the way from 2008. Yet someone dumped an archive on archive.org where there's over 10 million levels hosted in an SQL database. All that data was thought lost. Some of the recovered maps have over 200k downloads from the archive.
Same with Super Mario Maker 2, someone's made a 2.3 terabyte SQL dataset that's actively monitoring every level uploaded through Nintendo so they can grab a copy before shutdown because it will happen.

SKG would force companies to leave games in playable states after shutdown. If the company gave a signal that they're sunsetting servers and stopping support for the game, they could release a data set of all the internal user made files. SKG might not force them to do it but handing over data to the public is something the initiative is trying to do.

Abondonware is a thing, those are preserved games, and if you buy a wallmart potato laptop those are some of the best games humans ever made, for FREE. No i hate this mald guy because he is a lying furfag and he has exposed himself to the entire internet as an asshole.

Hopefully the drama keeps up and brings attention to EU fags and they can sign what's left. Hopefully Mald keeps malding and keeps the drama alive. I also hope Ross stokes the fire just enough, but at the same time I don't want him to become a clout chaser, he's too good for that.

I also love the 10 months defense:
>I killed the initiative 10 months ago in its infancy
>I cleaved its momentum at its peak and crippled the campaign
>Its not like I did it now, where it might have been dead in the water already
Never change you narcissistic midwit.

I do think Ross should lean into the drama angle and step on this degen's back until the very last day, keeping it fresh in everybody's mind. All the Hasan, Idubbbz, Anisa, Klein drama has been gotten some real airtime since really kicking off in April, and the furfag is a really hateable character, along with his taint licking gunt guards. Having somebody to hate may actually light a fire under people's asses to keep signing.

I'd also like to add that Rivals 2 is a dogshit sequel to that first game, and it's only worse that PishiteMaldware somehow got his spindly little ROACH fingers into it.
Shame Dan made another sequel to Melee instead of a real sequel to Rivals 1. It hasn't panned out for them, as the melee and PM players went back to their games.

I can't believe they're selling skins for an unfinished game. I was promised a full story mode, Dan!
