This is the explanation I received..

Short version is this: Aaron had an order saying he can't talk about or even mention Kayla. That order is unconstitutional as fuck. They can't stop you from talking "about" somebody. They can only stop you from talking "to" somebody. Aaron's lawyer did not object to that order (he should have). In fact, he even agreed to it.

Then Aaron talked about Kayla. And Aaron's lawyer said, in Aaron's defense, that this is not a problem because he did not talk "to" Kayla, only "about" her.

The issue is, the order was entered by consent. It shouldn't have been. It was a horrible order. But they've got him dead to rights that he violated it.

And generally you have to follow even an unconstitutional order unless/until it is vacated. You can't just disobey it, even though the order is wrong. So Aaron is more or less screwed in terms of they can prove the violation, the only issue is the appropriate punishment and how you fix that order going forward.

And as Aaron's lawyer notes, Nick is going out of his way to catch Aaron talking "about" Kayla. So this issue is going to repeat itself over and over.

Anyway. He needs a new lawyer. Very badly. ... I hate the spot he's in, though, and it's only going to get worse because Rekieta is also threatening to sue civilly, which will require talking about Kayla.

Chiming in now as the heat dies down, and Nick gets what he wanted;

Aaron won't do that, Because quitting his show no one cares about will give Nick what he wants, and he can't have that. He'll take his day in Jail, get fucked over legally further, but it seems the STMS is the one thing he has so much pride in he's not giving it up.

If he doesn't take this moment to realise that Nick and his Alogs genuinely want him dead & will go to any lengths to acheive that, and then act accordingly - he frankly deserves any thing he gets at this point.
