There's a grain of truth to that - though I feel like it has all started with (the top-down) normalisation of rap music and all the criminal shit in there. Movies and video games followed suit, and by the time Jack Thompson was sperging about total GTA death, it was... already too late.

So, uh, Postal 2 is "safe edgy" now. Which is a term I hate and also a term that makes me wanna go po... ahem, unsafe edgy.

I like the irony in this since Postal 2 has a lot of things these same types aren't ok with nowadays like how nearly everyone is a walking stereotype and aggressively so. Also as i said before in the Postal thread here the irony of characters like Postal Dude who are known for being mad at the world and don't discriminate against anyone he can put a bullet into is just totally ok with trans rights is wonderful. It reminds me of how peolpe do this with horror characters where they are completely heinous entities but uh they said "twans rights" so they're acceptable.

I know i am dwelling on this fact but it is shows a very juvenile way of thinking.

I'm saying this off the top of my head but someone made a Vampire The Mascarade Bloodlines mod that added Antitribu to the game (basically segments of a clan that go against the main tenets of said clan), and some mongoloids on Mods Nexus I think went apeshit because there were "Natzee Yuneeforms" and made a counter mod/reskin removing them.

It's like some retards can't understand the possibility of characters not having their personal values, or not having values at all. You play a game where you embody inhumanity incarnate, feed off of humans like they are your cattle while doing your best to stay unnoticed by them, but god forbid you believe other (human) races are lesser! It doesn't matter you're not even human in the first place you shitlord! If you feed off that tranny you better respect xir/xer pronouns while doing so and validate xir/xer identity!

Its so disingenuous when they use that argument that goes "these rpgs always had politics !" as a form of gotcha when people complain about current year wokeness taking a scalpel to the games and taking out everything that could lead to interesting conflicts because "its problematic" .

In Dark Sun racism was literally a game mechanic, dark sun elves are so racist they got power bonus when fighting non-elves. But god forbid a grimdark post-apocaliptic setting has dark themes so Dark Sun got classified as "problematic" by current Wotc management.

Honestly this reads like the devs fell for the most obvious bait of all time and will probably spend however many years they have left trying to justify that the absolutely psychopathic, mass murdering, almost school obliterating, using a cat's asshole as a silencer, potentially demon possessed maniac is in fact an ally to troonerpoonergooners. And given how evil most of them are, is probably accurate.

I was gonna reply to all of these posts on Postal Dude, of all people, being a trans ally just like Dumbledore suddenly became gae, but I can't find the relevant post/screenshot, so I'll have to wing it.

There was a Twitter post, from most likely a real libtard, that goes "villain who commits the most awful crimes but isn't a bigot".
