RIP Thread

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
90 year old actor with many popular roles who won multiple awards dies - "Oh yeah. I remember them."

Rock star from influential 1970's band dies - "He had some good songs."

Obscure YouTuber dies - "HOLY FUCK LET'S ALL GO ON AND ON FOR PAGES ABOUT THE FOX LADY!!!"

Really says something about today's culture.
Those people all died of normal circumstances and didn't have any skeletons in the closet (that I know of off the top of my head.) Youtuber fox lady not only died of unnatural causes out of seemingly nowhere, but there also appears to be some iffy stuff going on behind the scenes with a charity/sanctuary she ran and used as a springboard to launch a Youtube career. Of course the latter is going to be talked about more.

Mikayla Raines, the woman who ran the Animal Rescue Saveafox just killed herself.

I really enjoyed her videos, even though the red flags of her being a crazy person became more and more prominent the bigger her org became. I was faintly aware of the drama going on in the background (dead fox in the freezer, animals taking off and disappearing due to unsafe enclosures, her doing weird fucking NSFW photo shootings for, uh, charity?) and she seemed like she was suffering from lots of mental problems - but despite all that we shouldn't forget that a kid lost her mother and a guy lost his wife. And that's incredibly sad.

Also, her husband's video was very, very rough to get through, holy shit. (:_(

BREAKING NEWS: One of the people who posted on the SaveAFox Snark subreddit is getting mercilessly slamdoinked on here

Pride flag, furry avatar, posts shit about cats, minecraft and furry art. Also draws porn about Homestuck. Checks out.

I watched some of her stuff and I enjoyed seeing the foxes get to be happy on camera, it wasn't any more complicated than that for me. Don't really understand why people needed to pay more attention to it than that, let alone do this hyper-obsessive digging into her personal life, like there's a virtually infinite supply of people far more deserving than a BPD autist with good intentions saving animals from a fur-farm. Sure, some of the foxes escaped, it still beats the conditions on a fur=farm or falling into the hands of a zoosadist.

KazeoLion?

Yeah it’s really not surprising aside from them DFE’ing after doubling down on Reddit.

What makes it worse is that since she's a toddler when her mom died, most likely she'll either barely remember her mom or not remember her at all. What a fucked up start to her life. I don't know which of the sketchy rumors about that woman were true or not but I definitely don't think she deserved death for it, lmao. Her having BPD was already a major liability so killing herself over people talking bad about her online wasn't really out of the question, I suppose.

I don't know why people here keep saying that the husband was fake crying, it doesn't come off that way to me whatsoever. Must be some faceblind autism at work.
I can see they are already getting some replies telling them to kill themselves for bullying Mikayla when they seem to mostly have just kept track of what SaF was posting themselves.
Lol that's pretty much all we do on Kiwi Farms and yet we're blamed for mentally ill people with rough lives deciding to kill themselves for unrelated reasons.

Just to get us back on track...

Bobby Sherman, teen idol in the 60's and 70's has passed away. He was 81 years old. He had several hit songs and starred on the TV series "Here Come the Brides". Later, he became a paramedic instructor for his local police department, teaching CPR and stuff like that to the officers. He estimated he had delivered five babies in his paramedic career. All around wholesome guy by all accounts.

Rick Hurst, who played Deputy Cletus on "The Dukes of Hazzard" has passed away. He was 79. He was also in "Steel Magnolias", "Karate Kid III", "The Cat From Outer Space" and "Earth Girls Are Easy".
I loved Dukes of Hazzard when I was a kid, at least partly because my parents hated it.

Why did your parents not like DoH?

They were just some affable guys from around the neighborhood who never meant to do any harm to anyone. They were just making ends meet since they were young and the police were none too happy about it.

Story of rags to riches, IMHO.

Fun fact: The artist who sang the theme song (Waylon Jennings - "Just the Good Ol' Boys") also narrated the show.

Haven't seen any posts yet and not even sure if any people will know him too well here, but resident bad-think blogger Z-man is fucking dead (archive from RAMZPAUL on X). People that he worked with online are corroborating that he died of natural causes sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning (archive). His last post about free will from yesterday still has some speculating that he may have killed himself, but his associates coming out to say it was natural makes me doubt that theory.

The Southern Poverty Law Center outed him as John Christopher Zander (archive) a few years back because he dared to say that whitey is being targeted by governments. In the article, they say he was 55 at the time, so he would have been about 58-59 this year. I never read/listened to him a ton myself, but he seemed like a thoughtful person. RIP Z.

The whole white trash bootlegger thing, I'd guess.

Waylon Jennings was a national treasure.

I guess we still have Willie.
