I feel like most creators see Mald's audience size and the extent of his reach and are intimidated. They've only gotten as far as they have by attempting to collaborate with influencers bigger than them. People like Strife and Ross make an honest attempt at staying out of drama, which is certainly commendable.
Contentslop like Moist and Muta making videos on Mald have really opened the floodgates for creators who aren't afraid to get their hands a lil dirty, lets hope it spreads to the more timid/kind individuals as well.

Theres definitely a line to ride in terms of getting the public on your side and people like Josh and Ross are too far on the more positive end of it. It causes them to be incapable of dealing with people like Nigtree when he starts sperging. On the same note there's a time and place for level headed discussion as it allows you to look more knowledgeable than the person you're arguing against. In all i think they both just needed to be more stern and definitive

I signed the UK petition as soon as it was opened.

They closed it early because of the election which was about two months after.
I had no idea there was even another petition out. I just signed it but I think the response from the gov probably took the wind out of its the sales. Considering the median age of UK parliament is 51, I don't think anyone would even know what they were fighting for or talking about if they were to debate it.

Usually how it works with these people. A force field is a really good analogy, because they use lies and intimidation ("force") to maintain a narrative that is favorable to them, to deceive low-effort observers and garner support (the "field"). But it's a constant uphill battle they are destined to lose, as the scope of where they need to exert that force necessarily expands. It's hard to predict when, but at some point they overextend themselves and the whole thing pops.

Another analogy: it's like an individual version of a stock market bubble.

Just catching up reading the backstory in the OP. There must be some kind of chemical release in the brains of these people (this faggot, Vaush ect - who he reminds me of), which causes them to react the way they do in spite of them being very obviously wrong.

Their brains just sort of seize up when an opponent makes a good point, and instead of saying the sensible thing - "that's a fair point, *here's my response*" - they immediately shit the bed, spew out 20 odd sentences or pseudo intellectual word salad, call the other guy a dick, and then just start spreading lies.

It looks completely deranged, and I'm sure they are aware of this, and are aware that the other guy is calmly taking them to town, but they literally cannot stop.
