It's crazy how quick he is to shut down anything that is in 2d or has a retro vibe to it...

The absolute dichotomy of him buying black mesa and at the same time yelling at project zomboid for being too old.

He's really everything that's wrong with the AAA audience, he doesn't care about gameplay or how a game sets a tone (see how he plays death stranding). He just want a game with flashy graphics a story that's beaten in 2ish hours (that's 10h in Phil) and no difficulty.

The way he treats Indie games as a whole is insufferable. If an Indie is from a genre he'll ignore it and just claims it's an Indie, then compare it to a AAA slop he played from the same genre and call it a rip off.

Ironically I saw him tolerating the classic 2d/retro vibe games way more than he does with Assassin's Creed Shadows or Black Myth Wukong, as far as Mighty D or Memology footages would suggest (e.g. he still plays the Capcom arcade collections for some time after he quit SF6 completely). He just hates games now and is forced to play them for income and he would had been fit way more in a political correctness witchhunt front than any legitimate gaming community.

He did a long time ago. Now he never mentions it happening, which why some think he basically never leaves his gated community.

1) He could easily have groceries delivered.

For DSP Tries It, several times dents have suggested non-chain restaurants 5 minutes from Phil's house and he's not aware they exist. He might just be stupid, but he's definitely not explored Renton much in the decade he's lived there.

I believe Phil gets groceries delivered most of the time, all meals delivered (this one is pretty much confirmed), goes out for his monthly haircuts with Katherine to the formerly named Curls n' Twirls and the occasional errand that he always bitches about in his prestream.

Also, Phil won't drive on highways so he's limited to Southcenter and a couple strip malls unless Katherine drives and I suspect she can't/doesn't anymore. Another reason moving to Seattle was a mouth drooling decision by Phil.

Just to give people here kahntekst - he played like a chimp. No exaggeration, no (sandwich shahp) analogy, no metaphorical meaning of the phrase "played like a chimp." He played like a literal chimp. There's having terrible tactics and strategy, which is what he usually exhibits in any game that requires even a fraction of it, and then there's his Darkest Dungeon "gameplay." He quite literally picked which skill to use and who to target with it at random, again no exaggeration. He was like a chimp that was given 4 buttons to pick a skill and then another 4 to choose who to target with it - the chimp would just spazz out and start pushing the buttons at random. That's how he played.

This is gonna sound borderline crazy but I almost believe the opposite. We all live in this bubble that thinks the world hates Phil and is taking action against him all the time, when in reality outside the vocal group of detractors nobody gives a fuck about Phil or even knows who he is. I doubt he receives many reports nowadays because of how many reports people assume he already gets. I also think despite having a public phone number, I bet it is VERY rare for him to receive unsolicited texts/calls from detractors.
