I know, I was talking about the times before compulsory schooling.
Yeah, I’m not for child labor but think there is a convo to be had about forcing 14-19 year olds who don’t want to be in high school and want to work to stay in high school and if that’s working for society because I don’t think it does. We need to stop framing a 4 year degree as a must have.

I don’t know ultimately tho I come from a place where kids want to work because it’s advantageous not because they have to, and I see the argument for why that’s different.

show me she's always on my side by annoying me when I just want to watch the game and get drunk???
Not the person you were replying to but this sentence interested me. How is someone annoying you showing you they are on your side? Maybe you aren't actually annoyed and enjoy her company and are simply being sarcastic?

If it’s something that exists amorally in the animal kingdom but which humans have identified as a moral evil for us, it makes sense to me to say it’s a human social construct. That doesn’t diminish it.
It does actually diminish it as it:

Commits to the naturalist fallacy
Makes the concession that somehow it's 'a moral evil for us, which we have identified' which leads into;
Acceptance of morality as ultimately subjective which then leads into;
Observable negative outcomes/harms are matters of opinion which then leads into;
That which is observed, and can have opinions formed of it, is subjective that ultimately distills further to;
Any aspect of society that comes from human thought is up for debate and/or is a product of culture.

The golden median fallacy is for children and objective morality exists. It does not mean that objective morality exists in equivalence, and it is a topic that requires nuance and genuine understanding making it unfit for handling by mentally malformed ideologues who take positions based on persuasion rather than correctness.

Rape is not a social construct, end of discussion. I am not and never will be on 'the same side' as someone, on this, who is promulgating insanity as reason.
something is not a matter of opinion merely because people can disagree, agree, name, and define it.

There are people who have believed varying creation myths, does that mean that the Big Bang is a social construct? Varying peoples have had differing cosmologies, does that make heliocentrism a social construct?
It's worth reiterating because A: people here don't fucking read and B: because it's the cornerstone of these arguments being broken into pieces.

At the bottom of the glass of subjective morality is the concept of a solipsistic reality in which we as humans can dictate terms to reality itself. QED gender is not a social construct for the same exact fucking reasons.

Would Captain Planet consider putting marbles up your cousin's ass to be rape, and if so would he consider it to be a social construct?
I think Captain Planet would be more concerned about recycling the marbles.
I think I started this by accident! I brought up New York's violent crime statistics in response to Pajeet Patheaterkid saying violence is an artificial construct, and rape was my example of how he was being callous and retarded to victims of violence. Especially since he wants to let criminals out of prisons.

I would apologize but this slapfight is very very very entertaining and I shouldn't apologize for good art and never will.

Also hi everyone! Happy Saturday afternoon!
It happens. The thread quieted down after all the Iran doomers got BTFO and the recent attempt to derail the thread with the Supreme Court ruling feature failed because it was a Total Chud Victory. Can't doompill and shill Groypers or Tucker Carlson with that. So here we are: discussing rape statistics and the morality of rape.

In hindsight, it makes perfect sense that a Jew is trying to expel as many Hispanics from the country as possible, considering that Spaniards once set Jews on fire. Although ironically enough, the same people who quote "Camp of the Saints" as their race Bible would probably do the same to Jews.

So your issue is more with the implication that it’s humans who determine morality, and not a God or other objective source? Do I have that about right? Look, if so your complaint makes sense too.

Regardless, from what I have seen downplaying rape is certainly not what she intended, your anger is misdirected, it has nothing to do with US politics, and I think I speak for most when I say I’m tired of reading about it.

Reflecting on the major victories we have just obtained in the Supreme Court, I want to ensure we still remember which of Biden’s policies to demolish and replace. However, I was so busy with college during Biden’s term that I find myself struggling to actually remember any of Sleepy Joe’s major domestic policy failures, barring the appointment of Jackscoon to the Supreme Court. Could I get the highlight reel?

As I said:
A: people here don't can't fucking read
And yes it has to do with US Politics as it's the underlying framework for which a whole host of stupid shit up to and including tranny shit has been made to seem sensical.
and I think I speak for most when I say I’m tired of reading about it.
Considering you're guessing at what has been said and poorly comprehending it, that's not surprising that you're tuckered out.

Regardless I am tired of this as well. Because it's exhausting to know that this is what political discussions have come to, for fuck's sake.

Regarding child labour and other early industrial American terrors, read The Jungle by Upton Sinclair (1906), harrowing shit

"there really wasn't a clearcut villain"
Did you somehow miss the FUCKING TERRORISTS THAT GET OFF TO POLLUTING SHIT AND SPREADING PESTILENCE YOU SECTOID MOTHERFUCKER?
Look, I haven't seen it in a very long time! Personally I think he should have killed all the bad guys!

You hire children to fit in the tight spaces between the machinery, where a grown man can't go.

Anyone using the word "chud" should be fired into the sun.

Uh, no, most are well aware we have no relationship to the cows and we don't want one.
Awww :( I'm not that bad!

I can't believe I've found the endpoint of all moral, political, and philosophical thought, and it's just "The correct side is the one that negotiates the best." Getting smarter sucks.
Wait 'til you hear about the philosophical principle "might makes right." That one will make you start drinking.

To be completely fair, the right does the same thing when the left is in charge, but the left takes it further.

Both sides want to paint the general picture of "see the other people are in charge so things are going poorly!" that's just general political strategy. And i think the right can sometimes be pretty mental gymnasticsy about this while still trying to retain the veneer of american exceptionalism.

But it's only the left that takes genuine pleasure in the country doing poorly because they think we deserve it for the "sins" of the past. They get erect imagining flag waving patriotic white male boomers having their world view shattered as some brownoid kills them in iraq, or some chinese technology surpasses the white man's. They want ammo for their arguments, "SEEEE YOU RAAYCIST! ASIANS ARE SMARTER THAN YOU! ARABS ARE BETTER WARRIORS! NIGGERS ARE BETTER AT SPORTS!! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO BE RACIST BECAUSE ACTUALLY YOU SUCK AND YOUR COUNTRY SUCKS!" make no mistake about it they do this, even though many of them don't consciously realize it. Nor do they realize the degree to which they're programming their own minds for self hatred, a self hatred that no other culture even imagines. The realization of such is the core ingredient in redpills, and there's a lot of realizing going on right now.

YOU LITERALLY DID A WIKI ENTRY COPY/PASTE TIER EXPLANATION THAT STATED THE VILLAINS EXISTED AND THEN SAID THERE WEREN'T ANY! :story:
I wrote that myself! Let me rephrase: there were villains but he was always like, "Don't kill the villains, children, they're only human" and leave them, like, tied up or otherwise incapacitated for the authorities to deal with ala Spider-Man. Am I misremembering this?
