Mang0 has always been a notorious drunk. I remember seeing him at The Big House 4, the one where he played against Hax$ in pools and picked falcon leading to the "Did he just walk up, slowly, and down-smash?!" clip, Juggleguy (the organizer) was minutes away from disqualifying him since he was late as fuck to his matches because he was down at the lobby bar drinking. It was only a matter of time before something like this happened to him with his wannabe-rockstar attitude towards the scene, especially with how sensitive and cancellation prone it has become in recent years.

As someone who's met mang0 a few times, I will say that he came off as genuinely funny and not a bad guy. That being said, he's a high school dropout and an alcoholic who built his career off an ancient video game. Unfortunately, the Melee I once knew has become infested with a terminal case of trannies and the GOAT's fate has been sealed for awhile. I'm not going to justify his actions, but what I will say is that everybody around him knew he would behave this way. For fucks sake, the man is called a buster because half the time he was taking shots throughout the tournament until he got sloppy drunk and stomped out by a (more) sober top player. It's one thing to watch Lolcows you're completely detached from like the Ralphamale and Patrick S. Tomlinson get their comeuppance, but it's another feeling altoghether to watch old acquaintances like Hax$ and mang0 go through the ringer. Still not above talking shit tho.

Related, I ran across a clip someone took of Hungrybox's stream when he found out about C9 dropping mang0. He looks like shit and seeing the news, you would think he'd just seen a ghost. He just potentially lost a long-time rival.
