Late reply, but in my opinion anime dubs become more bearable when the setting of the work is not in Japan. The best dubs often cited are like the two examples you provided (both are not set in Japan), black lagoon (international cast and they go to many foreign lands) and Baccano (set in prohibition era america).
Eh koreans and Chinks have their own weird cultural quirks in their media and also have annoying lolicons too. Blue archive is made by koreans.
