You know, the sad thing is that - and please understand, I don't mean to come off as condescending here - women of PT's size can actually look really cute, even hot. The problem is that Pixy just seems to assume that she's doing everything right, when in fact she has no idea how to light, shoot, frame, pose, or even make the appropriately sexy pouts for these types of pictures.

As others have pointed out, these are really no different than Chris and his bizarre attraction images featuring his wide-eyed, inscrutable expressions, staring off into space while sprawling over his bed, or rockin' out with his Guitar Hero controller that's obviously unplugged. See, it works in Chris and Teri's heads, thus it's supposed to work for everyone else.

Extremely true, it is not that Pixy Teri is the whale that many make her out to be. It is just she dresses and acts so awfully that it makes her worse features stand out. If she just learned what looks best on a woman of her size and learned how to present herself hardly anyone would comment on her weight except weeny trolls.

There are plus size cosplays out there who never get harassed because they do their cosplays the right way.

You pretty much nailed it. A woman of PT's size can do a good cosplay, looking pretty in the process. As you said, PT's problem is that she has no idea on doing this properly in these types of pictures. The lighting goes against her pictures, the poses do not make her look pretty, and the faces she make do not do much justice for her.

Part of being good at something is also accepting criticism, which she WON'T DO. If you criticise her, you're a un-kawaii baka cyberbully troll, and definitely not someone who sees she potential and wants to see her improve.

I've said some fucked up shit in this thread. I'm sure I've caused people to replace keyboards and monitors from vomit damage. But you...you...you should be ashamed of yourself.

Pixy has the potential and she can improve but as you say, she isn't receptive to criticism, especially of the constructive variety.

Well, the bulk of the pictures from any photo shoot are bad in some way, or at least not usable. That's why they take a hours--you take 200 pictures in order to get twenty or thirty good ones. But most models/photographers will ONLY post the twenty or thirty good photos, and not the other 180 where they're making a derp-face or were mid-sneeze, or the flash washed them out, or their stomach rolls are accentuated.

Pixy does take an above-average number of awful pics, and because she's convinced she can do nothing un-kawaii, she posts ALL the pics. She takes them by and large in bad lighting, in front of a crap slapdash backdrop, in some ill-fitting wig and costume, with no makeup. When she bothers to wear a nice getup and to her hair/wig nicely and has some makeup on... she looks quite nice. It's a shame she focuses more on quantity than quality.

Not only that, she tries to copy poses that are sort of naughty and demure...perhaps even slightly voyeurish and makes them outright slutty. Such as an upskirt going directly to "look at my panties, goddammit!"
