AI Derangement Syndrome / Anti-AI artists / Pro-AI technocultists / AI "debate" communities - The Natural Retardation in the Artificial Intelligence communities

I love how the hecking reddit spacerino buying Twitter and committing a hitler is mentioned in the same breath as the death of art and freedom. Even if you buy the premise it's hilariously out of proportion. To these people, Twitter not being a hugbox anymore might as well be the holocaust.

"Elon is a nazi" is the weirdest bit. What do you care? Oh no, random guy has some beliefs I don't like? He doesn't even have a disproportionate ability to affect your life. Go to your Bluesky hugbox or something.

In other centuries, that string of words is practically meaningless. Imagine you find a plaque somewhere that says "I Portheus hereby declare I am killing myself, because Lerpo is a Zantist." It sounds ridiculous and over-dramatic because it is.

Kill yourself because you have no job, no money, no home, or your wife died, or you're about to go to prison for the rest of your life. Not because Glumglob performed a gesture on stage that upset you.

I ended up diving into this guy's profile so I could own you for Kiwi karma by pointing out he was a probationary fed worker or something. Holy shit dude hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of comments and AI art / Elon Musk makes up 95% of his posts.

His solidarity with workers begins and ends at cartoon artists, lol.

AI is why he isn't an animator.

I can't actually find much he drew, except for this comic which seems to imply that AI artists are unfairly valued over people that create furry art.

It's times like this where I really want to ask someone that one specific question, "Why do you think he's a Nazi? Give me a genuine, actual reasoning aside from that ONE gesture he did and him merely being right wing". Best chance is that answer will most likely be completely nonsensical because words like Nazi/Fascist/Authoritarian/etc are now associated with "person/thing/ideology I don't like".

Also, AI killed art? You lefties killed art—well, not killed because I hate the whole "[BLANK] IS DEAD!!!" title trends I've been seeing on YouTube that's been annoying me to no end—but tarnished and broke. AI only made things more convoluted because of all the mass produced, pixar-style-yeti-vlog landfill content that's plagued the internet. Art has long since withered for a good couple of years. AI has only assisted in it, it is not the culprit. The internet long has withered and is a far cry from how it was from the 90s to the early 2010s. AI has only assisted in it, it is not the culprit.

And MAGA killed freedom? Don't even get me started with the 'pot calling the kettle black' over here.

Oh shit I know about that guy, I've posted about him here before (maybe in one of the other AI threads). He posted about how he had some kind of traumatic brain injury or something and can't do much of anything so he just doomscrolls forever, just all around a really sad character.

This person really needs therapy and get off the damn internet. But mainly be receptive to being treated.

Right, isn't it a fucking shame? It's suddenly the "end of the fucking world". They should honestly get over it. I sometimes wonder if traditional artists made such a fuss over the transition to digital media in the 1980s and 1990s.

It's completely feelings-based responses these twats blurt out, and I have the same wish as you do. "Give me one good reason to why said person is associated with authoritarian movements that arose in middle 20th century."

"Pot called the kettle nigger", more like.

r/LimbusCompany has an announcement regarding upper reddit admins getting more involved in their subreddit due to the "Kill AI Artists" sentiment becoming a trend there.
Comments are full of seething about how they're being restricted on the grounds of it being perceived as death treats.

It's once again typical reddit behavior where the users show themselves to complain that they're not allowed to fedpost when the rules against it are actually enforced against a group that they generally don't like. Even the jannies of the subreddit are participating in the seethe in some of the comments with the usual lines from anti-AI people.

Redditors aren't people.
And it's interesting how further furious they get once they get their "freedumbs" restricted. It further shows that they are incapable to behave.

Hail Greg. Hello people. Hail Victory. But seriously, I've tried using Greck. Providing stuff and it literally spits out little gibberish. Not as bad as chat GPT, chat GPT is hilarious because it just thought she's O posting.
