I don't "get" vtubers, I've seen clips I found funny here and there (mostly them saying nigger) but the few times I tried to watch them the voices were cringe and assumed it just wasn't for me. Vtubers are at their core just a more autistic variant of lets play streamer. It's literally just "Internet personality autist with a mocap avatar". Naturally this, like many other autistic ass things online, will attract pedos in some form or another. It's made worse and more cancerous once they begin actively nodding to them, whether as a "meme reference to cursed shit" or genuine just plain nod to cursed shit. I know the question wasn't directed my way, but to me they both look like the same model with copyright-avoidance edits tot he saba one, and both seem to be if you actually pinned an age on how the characters look more early to mid teens than anything. 6 or 8 seems really young because anime styled stuff kinda traditionally has 6 to 8 year olds depicted as literal spud creatures. This still does not make the pedoshit any better, and ultimately does not matter as much as the fact it's a kid at all combined with the pedoshit terms.
I switched up the highlight color there specifically because of the earlier comment about the red, though I still prefer the red.

Anyways, A very famous(or infamous) recent example of an anime 8 year old would be Klee from genshin impact, who is a literal 8 year old child.

Now, for those unaware somehow this anime vidya character has been the target of many an Internet pedo's sick fucking desire for some fucking reason. Despite the memes people make about the game, in the actual game itself the character is in no way shape or form sexualized. Any characters with this base model follow that too. When comparing this character to the others in the game, it's very clear they're the really young age they look. There's other characters who use this exact model base that are older, but usually it's either like 10-13 (or the god equivalent of 10 and thus still treated as a child.) Ages get fucking vague in anime styled shit but at the end of the day kids are kids, and if your career is being a lets play sperg who uses an anime model styled somewhat like a kid you likely shouldn't be going on about cunny on your livestream.

What baffles me about the whole argument is that even under the most ideal circumstances, assuming that there is no paraphilia escalation, the subject in question isn't modeled after an actual kid, and that it's legal in your jurisdiction, it's still off-putting.
