Judging by the trailer, the games parkour mechanics looks more janky than the original Mirrors Edge, and that game came out 2008, 17 years ago! Just saying, if you are going for a female protagonist who is running (FPS view), you better make some improvements compared to a almost two decades old game.

The devs have no fucking idea what made the original game good, as Below Zero proved, plus shoving niggers in everyone's faces constantly is doing them no favors.

Why would it shock you? Microsoft's studios are all like this. 10 years of failure until they rally round every studio to finish up a title to put out. This is the company that saw Halo infinite failing and decided it needed a black lesbian to lead the studio.

Because it's been in the oven so long I assumed they'd eventually send it out, even if it was just to die.

This trailer from their YouTube channel (3.6k subs and no other uploads lol) is extremely funny in retrospect.
For some reason I remembered this studio being one of Microsoft's girlboss flagships but maybe I'm getting confused with whatever Bonnie Ross has been busy fucking up.

I'm starting to wonder if part of the deal that allowed the Microsoft-Activision buyout to go through was that they shutter a bunch of their existing studios, or maybe it's even simpler than that and the bean counters outside of Xbox asked why they're continuing to fund in-house studios when they just spent billions acquiring a bunch of existing ones.
