Oh. Wutang. That game didn't even get enough of a showcase in the gameplay for me to give much of a shit about.
From the tiny sliver of gameplay they showed it looks like it could be a fun arena combat game, like Furi or Sifu, but this appears to be the developer's first game and that genre is extremely sweaty so the odds are stacked against them pulling it off.

I had a look at their website and there's not much interesting there, but I did find this hilariously bad Deviant Art shit promoting a film Ghost Face Killah is producing:

Anyone born in the year Enter the Wu-Tang Clan came out would now be 32 years old.
It came out the year I graduated High School, and me and my friend went to the 30th Anniversary Tour concert for it for our 50th birthdays.

The bigger shock was when I realized the 20th Anniversary Edition of Paul's Boutique by the Beastie Boys is over 15 years old.

I was really disappointed when i learned it was just guns, i thought it was going to be fighting fewer monsters but with medieval weapons.
At least one guy I've talked to has described the gameplay as less hit 'n run and more Cuphead-style parrying to do any sort of damage.

oooooof yeah i'll pass...

I actually found the finishing moves in doom 2016 to be really bad on gameplay flow. They looked cool but it's fun killing shit and gibbing it like in serious sam or shadow warrior, not staggaring it to walk up and hit e.

I love parrying mechanics so this is a definite plus for me, especially after getting ruse cruised by Black Myth Wukong last year.

Parrying can definitely do big chunks of damage, but guns are just as effective as always. I think there's only one enemy type that actually requires parries to become vulnerable and it doesn't come til late in the game. I had a lot of fun with it, especially since I played it off gamepass.

More cancellations.

First, the woke Perfect Dark game, the one where you do parkour and fight the Carrington Institute has been cancelled.
The comments on the trailer are full of recent posts of being sad it was cancelled.

Meanwhile, Subnautica 2 is also in trouble. The details are vague, burried in corpo speak, but it appears the team has been fired, or is at risk of being fired if they don't hurry up and get the game out already.
