PS3 would crash new Vegas regularly, especially if you saved too often. While the 360 had bugs as well, but no save bug. While pc was obviously superior, the 360 was the superior console.
Bethesda games, aside from the original release of Oblivion, on PS3 were lazy, shit ports with the usual Bethesda idiocy of not fixing bugs that were known from previous games in newer ones.
The original PS3 release of Oblivion was farmed out to a different dev and had no issues, looked and ran better than the 360 build, but Bethesda fucked over the devs and they refused to work with Bethesda again, so Bethesda actually re-ported the game for the Game of the Year edition, and that was the origin of the insanely broken PS3 engine they used for everything after.
The glitches and bugs on PS3 Bethesda games were absurdly bad. While playing Fallout 3, I accepted the quest You Gotta Shoot 'Em in the Head, then started walking north to the mission location. Walking over a pile of rocks, I fell through the rocks into a void. I managed to maneuver my way out, and suddenly I get the notification that I had completed that quest, and three others I hadn't even accepted yet!
In New Vegas, in Primm, if you go into the casino with the car in it, and walk to just the right spot and at just the right angle, you will walk out of the map and into a black void. If you manage to find the right angle again, you can walk out. 100% reproduceable! That's mainly down to Bethesda not letting Obsidian do QA on that game, though.
