And I expect him to claim his pursuit of CLE and license renewal as 'community service' because he's a man of the people don't you know, with a small town office serving the public.
So does anyone know what Minnesota considers "community service?" Everywhere I've known had some actual list of activities and they all involved being in public in an orange vest of some sort doing some kind of menial labor.

I think he should only be allowed to pick up trash by the side of the road while people drive by and throw dog shit in his face.

Chrissie Mayr, Coomalot, Keanu et al are all grifters with no principles. They follow the clout and super chats and will turn on a dime if they think it will further their “career”.
Exactly. If she's balldowashing, she sees value in it (or she's getting paid). I brought her up as a canary in a colemine, not a paragon of virtue.

What I'm getting at is that these kids live a very, very abnormal life. Even before the horror of the Quover era (and the aftermath).

Isn't this the case with the majority of home-schooled kids though? The whole point of home schooling seems to me to be to keep them away from outside influences (and perhaps much of the dog-eat-dog bullying that happens in public schools.)

So I'd always had the impression that most home-schooled kids were somewhat isolated. Often coming from large families they seem to rely in siblings for social support.

All that said, I've got no experience of any of it. This is just an impression I've drawn from watching/reading about the process, so I might be completely off-beam here. Of course, we know that the Rekieta kids aren't home-schooled properly and it's more of a cooperative approach that gives them contact with many more kids than home-schooled children would normally get. Which does make the lack of friends/play dates/etc. somewhat weird.

But if you're a parent who's children attend that 'cooperative' how comfortable would you be allowing your kids to go and hang out at the Rekieta house? Even prior to the Quover, if you've watched Nick's YouTube streams and you're the kind of parent that's home schooling because of your faith, I suspect you'd have huge reservations about your kids hanging out together. Shit, I'm a stone cold atheist I'd I'm never sending MY kids over there. I don't want them sitting on Uncle Drexel's knee while he tells them bedtime stories.

If just that formed my worldview so rigorously and I could recall events from when I was a kid, I am terrified at what his KEEEEEDZ would grow up to be.
While it's hard to isolate single moments in realizing Nick is a completely irredeemable piece of garbage who should be chucked in a woodchipper, I know a number of them were watching the tail end of his streams where he was clearly blasted out of his gourd at probably .3 or something considering how much he'd glug glugged while homosexually licking the bottle, and was whining about "drivin muh KEEEEEEDS around" in three hours or something.

Is Candy Yoshi some dumb hick jurisdiction where they don't even prosecute drunk driving? Because given the descriptions of how he was seething every time he got pulled over, how the fuck was he not drunk off his ass most of these times?
But wishing your parents had talked to you about it? Wanting to know more? Resenting they didn't tell you? I honestly don’t even know what kind of wrong that is. It crosses into something that just feels so fundamentally disturbing.
Nick is a creepy, disgusting, perverted freak. A sick fuck.

ill never understand that first stream back from arrest that rekieta did where he was like "I DONT OWE ANYONE AN APOLOGY". that is fine with me, sir. i am just here to make fun of you for being a cuck crackhead who was railing lines with your nine year old while aaron imholte balldo'd your wife in the other room. that is all funny to me, do not apologize for it. i should, in fact, be thanking you, if you wanna know the truth about it. bizarre stuff going on in that guy's head!

I can assure you, they’re either being isolated from others or having any other interactions highly monitored. Especially now. Without powerleveling, there’s no more fantastic way to hide abuse than homeschooling. Especially of a sexual nature, which at this point, I have no doubt has happened or IS happening. I had to step away from this thread for a week… I need funnier cows.

@John Andrews Stan Has your friend’s parents finally come to their senses about the damage they did? Or is it still denial, denial, denial?

Has Nick ever even referred to his kids playing outside? Do they ever go to the lake? Has he ever even mentioned going up north in the summer?
The only time Nick seems to mention his kids is crying and screaming about "drivin muh KEEEEEEDZ around." Fucking asshole.

Apparently the coop lost faith in Nick at some point and yoinked his permission to "teach" kids. He probably said some freaky, creepy shit because he's unable to pick up on social cues and they realized he was a fuckup and they didn't want him influencing their kids.

Has there ever been a single word from anyone about any of the children having friends? Ever?
Indeed there has been, but your question is a good one because I imagine most parents would not let their children into that home (except Aaron... which, whatever... we're past it).

Here's what we know:
  • Eldest is very networked and hanging out with lots of kids at church and at school. FoDP, you know where to find that evidence. I'm being careful... because people are sensitive about these topics 'round here. He's very close with his debating partner who (I believe) has just just graduated from the Christian school. That debating partner may be a relation in the Woltjer clan.
  • The eldest daughter... well, she's something, as many 12 yo girls are.. Here's what I captured during the Read streams:
His story is this: His hilarious 12-year-old daughter is at the age where she cares about clothes and has asked him to go shopping with her, and so he did. He noticed the trends are tank crop tops and baggy pants, and he finds them reminiscent of the 90s. Timestamp 10:04
(I find it a bit odd that he's shopping with her. That's normally reserved for moms at this age so moms can litigate the clothing.)
There is a lot of garbled audio of the daughter and Nick's interaction when he picked her up. If someone with good audio capabilities could give it a listen, it would be helpful. Based on the voice maturity, I'm guessing this is the 12 yo daughter. Timestamp: 3:51:45 -4:11:30.
- Nick's daughter wanted to say hi from the car. She did, and called everyone "losers".
- Nick said that his boys are largely self-sufficient. They’re homies and get along well. They code together. His oldest daughter’s friend group is more complex. This friend group makes fun of him.
He went onto say that he'd rather negotiate peace bw N and S Korea than deal with her friend group. Click through for the streams if you wish to find the original sourcing.

That's all I got, but the kids are in camp this summer and church regularly.

One of my grandparents is from a culture which frowns upon PDA. My dad said he'd never even seen his parents kiss each other, but never once doubted they loved each other, and they stayed married until their deaths.

What I'm getting at is Nick not realizing his parents could love each other without verbalizing when they're fucking to their children is because he doesn't understand social cues, and also because why the fuck are you entitled to knowledge of the sex life of your parents? They had to have had sex at one point to have you, you fucking retard. It sounds more like it's justification for him telling his own kids about his sex life, because it's not bad if he did it to his own children, because he wished his own parents did it to him.

He's not just a turbofaggot, or a pervert, or a failed attorney, or a disgraced Youtuber, or a pariah of the local community...he's autistic. And retarded.
I think Nick just gets horny to seeing his parents fucking

That or his parents hate each other and that's part of why Nick's so fucked up

So does anyone know what Minnesota considers "community service?"
This article (archive) gives some idea.

Tasks completed by the work crews range from cleaning county facilities to maintaining county vehicles to constructing park amenities. The crews have been behind the building of the camper cabins at Games Lake , with the final one to be installed this year. They also built the bunk beds and tables for the cabins along with repairing and rebuilding picnic tables for the various county parks.
Crews also refurbished the inside of the Sheriff's Office firearms tactical trailer, adding shelving for better organization, and upgraded a van with benches and shelving.

"(The deputies) use this for support for the SWAT team," Roelofs said. "They are very happy with having that van."

Community service crews, including juveniles, helped spruce up the bedrooms at the Prairie Lakes Youth Programs facility on the MinnWest Technology Campus. This included a new paint job and carpet.

"It just turned out fabulous," Nelson said.

Annual work includes snow removal in the winter and mowing in the summer. Crews also do a lot of maintenance at the county parks, keeping facilities in good condition and clean.

"We have a list each year with the parks, what we can do," Roelofs said. "We are pretty busy on the mowers in the summer."

In 2022, crews will be sanding and painting the cell doors and repairing handrails at the Kandiyohi County Jail and doing a special project with the DREAM Technical Academy charter school in Willmar by building planter boxes.
[...]
The staff of Kandiyohi County Community Corrections, which runs the Community Service Program, hope that the offenders who serve on the crews get some positives out of their experience, most importantly skills they can take back out into their community.

"Give them a skill to go forward and be able to change their lives," Lieberg said.

That Aaron didn't retain an attorney was extremely obvious from the extremely shoddy nature of his petition itself.

Aaron had no excuse since if he had no idea what a good petition looked like, that would be one thing, but he could have pulled out what Ashley had him served with and copied what she had done, such as providing detailed quotes, screenshots, etc.
Yes, but that’s not what I was talking about. There is no way to know if he will get a lawyer or not, now that there is a hearing, (when even the community note is claiming he is not going to have one) until the time comes or paperwork is filed showing an update. Why nitpick if he is going to get a lawyer or not, or in the case of those saying he absolutely won’t get one, when it’s easy enough to wait & see. Did people expect Aaron to make a lawyer announcement the exact second Nicks council responded? Enough to confidently announce he won’t have a lawyer on the same day? That’s just jumping the gun, say it anyway you want.
For as long as Nick has put the WinBy2 guy getting paid as a higher priority than sending out the 5k Locals gifts, making up for the 13 missed Locals streams for May 2024, repairing the cabinet door he's left empty in memory of his former contractor, paying his traffic ticket that's been outstanding for over a year, or renewing his vehicles' registrations, he has a chance to get paid.
He also needs to pay Monty that $300. I’m wondering if that $300 will accrue interest, or if it would be worth Monty asking for sanctions.

I am.

The only time I gave him money, lmao. (I just wanted to chat on locals, didn't care about some crappy gift.)
I might have made the cut for that but not sure I did And then I could have swarm I had cancelled my membership quite awhile ago. And I got charged for it recently. So I made sure it was canceled and even made sure I was not following anymore on locals.
