They'll still be whining about GAMERGAAAAAAAAAAAATE decades from now. Never forget it was the first organized, large scale rebellion against their subversion.
This, had they just left Vidya and other entertainment media alone in the early 2010s they could have done most of what they wanted without much blowback, especially considering how hard the religous right railed against the medium in the 90s, unfortunately for them they chose to make a slight fuck up and turned a lot of 15-35 males at the time against their bullshit

Its times like these I wish I were a biblical scholar just to own some people.
The best thing is to just make up bible verses to make these faggots prove their own retardation. Because libtards don't look at primary sources or statistics, they do whatever screen man says.

2008 basically fucked the political right to a point where they had to push further right but also find a way to appeal still mostly apolitical people and we saw that fully manifested in 2016
Republicans after 2008 started the groupthink that the way to win people back from the democrats was to move further to the left and try and be more 'inclusive' and open. I recall being at the Disney Yacht club restaurant watching the Olympics and then Romney picked Ron Paul while I was eating breakfast. I just was so dejected at how milquetoast the choice and overall state of the party was. John Boehner for all his flaws kept the party from collapsing. Trump comes along and easily defeats establishment pick Jeb! and proceeds to change history.

Does neutering yourself or the product to get more mass market appeal ever work?

Quite a few Protestant churches and denominations have been infiltrated or corrupted in the last few decades. That sticker is from a place affiliated with the United Methodist Church, which has recently has had a schism relating to allowing gay marriage and LGBTQ clergy. A number of more conservative congregations went off to do their own thing while the UMC has gone all in on homosexual acceptance.
To add to that, a lot of draft dodging Boomers couldn't get into college back in the sixties and seventies, but could get into Seminaries, as well as Communists and Socialists actively infiltrating both Catholics and Protestant churches. Marxism is best thought of as a secular religion, replacing God with the State, so religion either has to go or has to conform to the State, especially as it's one of the bulwarks against Progressive madness. They took over the seminaries, then pushed progressive pastors, but slowly, and since the Boomer laity was mostly fine with the Cult of Niceness, they didn't notice until too late. Some denominations handle it better than others, Catholicism is a bureaucracy that's always slow to change and it's size helps, a lot of Reformed Protestant denominations still resist progressiveness, God love the Calvinists they're good at being stubborn at the very least. Wildly, the Methodists are the mainline denomination that held out the longest. Shit, we might have even have been able to cut the progressives out if COVID hadn't fucked things up and let them rally.

Basically, Boomers wanted Churches to be a social club that wasn't hard on anyone, because, shockingly, the most spoiled generation in history doesn't like to be told no. The Progs used that to slowly boil the frog. Add to that Gen X's distrust of authority and Millennials push back against their Boomer parents hypocracy and making them go to church on Sundays, and it's a perfect storm. Zoomies seem to have an interest in returning, I assume rooted in pissing off Millennials and a search for meaning, but the faithful Zoomers want a church with some teeth. Turns out the hedonistic treadmill is as utlimately unsatisfying as the Good Book said it was, who ever would have guessed.

The Conservatives in Canada are doing pretty much the same thing where they offered up a watered down version of shitlib politics and wonder why they lose.

The fuck is wrong with modern Christian churches? A lot of them seem to have gone super rainbow woke.
Entryism. A long standing Marxist tactic. Join a group and pervert it towards your own ends.

Mao, specifically, pioneered this tactic. "All cultural institutions must be reformed to serve the interests of the revolution or be burned to bedrock so the enemies of progress cannot use them." It's why the left constantly targets pop culture, academia, media... Because if it's not directly benefiting the alt-left, it MUST be changed so it does or destroyed. Since they don't actually give a shit about anything, they're fine with things being destroyed.

We saw this with media, books, tabletop, video games... all kinds of pop culture stuff. They don't actually give a shit about say, D&D or Warhammer 40k. Not really. But they're very very interested in making damned sure you don't have a hobby where you can escape their eternal revolution. They were pretty blatant about it on a DC comics panel, they were talking about how things might be pushing back against the left's cultural changes in comics but they had to make damned sure to make them permanent and as hard if not impossible to fix before they were forced out.

It's not incompetence. Not all of it. If they can't make it progressive wokeshit, they'll destroy it to make sure you can't fix it or offer an alternative to the wokeshit.

Your church? It's no different than comic books, YA novels, what have you to them. It will either be changed to be an indoctrination machine for the alt-left, or they'll destroy it so you can't enjoy your faith in peace, because otherwise church might give you an alternative to alt-leftist institutions and beliefs, and that cannot be allowed. You MUST engage with the revolution. Your kids MUST be raised to think 36 genders and homosexuals masturbating in front of them during parades celebrating how much they love dicks in their asses is normal.

To wit: If you tried to do a Christian "Pride" parade during some Christian holy day, they will INSIST that you include special call outs to leftists. You'll HAVE to celebrate faggot Christians or Nigger Christians. You can't just celebrate God and Faith and Family. You HAVE to celebrate THEM, and if you don't, they'll have a fucking meltdown over it and do whatever they can to destroy what you're doing.

You'll note they never, ever, EVER try this with Judaism, however. The absolute second they tried to skittles squad Jewish institutions they'd be shut down so fast they wouldn't even understand it. In fact, they probably already have been, repeatedly, and they've just learned not to even try.

the Catholic Church for example, there was a strange uptick in converts before Vatican II happened, luckily theres a much longer emphasis on tradition and ritual with Catholicism so it's not all lost in terms of going full pro-gay,pro-trans,etc. at worst it created a generation of Vatican II Boomers who know virtually nothing about the faith and support things that every Catholic would have never been in support of in the 2000 years of Church History and many Younger Catholics see the recent history and have fought back, with many Protestant Churches they are far easier to maniuplate given the fact that cherry picking scripture and a tradition of questioning things have been a thing within those denominations since the days of Luther and Calvin, thats why you see millions of subsect and Churches within it, particularly in the United States where some denominations are Conservative while others are full globohomo and have no belief in Jesus and might as well be preaching from the Communist Manifesto instead of the Bible, and I am not necessarily saying Protestants are bad people here, just that its more institutionally maleable.

The Catholic Church has probably the strongest "idea of existence" of any institution in the world. If the Borgias couldn't destroy the church, the communists can't either.

It is interesting how the right in particular came to be associated with being so against video games when some of the individuals who went after them the hardest were members of the Democratic Party. These weren't just pastors telling their congregation not to play them or that they were unholy in a particular way, these were legal attempts to effect the gaming industry at large.

The 1993–94 United States Senate hearings on video games that lead to the creation of the ESRB under threat that the government would regulate video games for the industry if they did not take the steps themselves? Lead by Senator Joe Lieberman and Senator Herb Kohl, both were Democrats.

The failed Family Entertainment Protection Act in 2005 which would have imposed fines of US$1000 or 100 hours of community service for a first time offense of selling a "Mature" or "Adult-Only" rated video game to a minor, and $5000 or 500 hours for each subsequent offense? Introduced by Senator Hillary Clinton and co-sponsored by Senators Evan Bayh, Tim Johnson, and Joe Lieberman. All were Democrats.

The 2006 Entertainment Software Association v. Foti lawsuit claiming that a Louisiana law should be declared unconstitutional because it was claimed as a way for the state to censor video games by making it illegal to supply minors with video games considered violent, similar to laws making pornographic material unavailable to minors, but using violence as the criteria instead of sexual content. The law was passed when the state had a Democrat governor.

The Brown v. Entertainment Merchants Association Supreme Court case which was about a California law banning the sale of certain violent video games to children without parental supervision? The legislation had been sponsored by Democrat California State Senator Leland Yee and signed into law by then Republican (a label that has really aged well for him) California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The state of California was supported by a mix of other conservative or liberal states (Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Texas, and Virginia) with similar laws.

I think this makes both parties seem a bit servile and slavish, just to different things.

The DNC is definitely just goosestepping with whatever any glass screen tells them. But the RNC you could say is beholden to an idealized version of the country. 92% is a little TOO high. America is good, but not that good.
I would argue it depends on what exactly a person thinks of as "pride" which can be quite wholesome if it is love of home.

A long quote for The Four Loves that I feel helps define this type of affection.

First, there is love of home, of the place we grew up in or the places, perhaps many, which have been our homes; and of all places fairly near these and fairly like them; love of old acquaintances, of familiar sights, sounds and smells. Note that at its largest this is, for us, a love of England, Wales, Scotland, or Ulster…With this love for the place there goes a love for the way of life; for beer and tea and open fires, trains with compartments in them and an unarmed police force and all the rest of it; for the local dialect and (a shade less) for our native language… It would be hard to find any legitimate point of view from which this feeling could be condemned. As the family offers us the first step beyond self-love, so this offers us the first step beyond family selfishness... Of course patriotism of this kind is not in the least aggressive. It asks only to be let alone. It becomes militant only to protect what it loves. In any mind which has a pennyworth of imagination it produces a good attitude towards foreigners. How can I love my home without coming to realise that other men, no less rightly, love theirs?...

The second ingredient is a particular attitude to our country’s past. I mean to that past as it lives in popular imagination; the great deeds of our ancestors. Remember Marathon. Remember Waterloo. “We must be free or die who speak the tongue that Shakespeare spoke.” This past is felt both to impose an obligation and to hold out an assurance; we must not fall below the standard our fathers set us, and because we are their sons there is good hope we shall not… This feeling has not quite such good credentials as the sheer love of home. The actual history of every country is full of shabby and even shameful doings…The heroic stories, if taken to be typical, give a false impression of it and are often themselves open to serious historical criticism. Hence a patriotism based on our glorious past is fair game for the debunker. As knowledge increases it may snap and be converted into disillusioned cynicism, or may be maintained by a voluntary shutting of the eyes. But who can condemn what clearly makes many people, at many important moments, behave so much better than they could have done without its help?... I think it is possible to be strengthened by the image of the past without being either deceived or puffed up. The image becomes dangerous in the precise degree to which it is mistaken, or substituted, for serious and systematic historical study

Happy 4th of July, and to honor our nation's independence lets us laugh tat shome fucking stupid commie bullshit.

Even ignoring the obvious, I wonder why the Mongolians aren't one here, like they are not at all communist and you would think that they would be one here but no only the white civilizations. Wonder why that is.
