Any coders present here's more laughing at his shit code
>MFW game is cracked by removing simple code checks
I really hope this kind of thing blows up, this is what will actually destroy his streaming "career". His loser fanbase needs to see that he is being made fun of for being incompetent, and that anyone that is dumb enough to believe he is competent is in turn made fun of as well. I think this is the one thing that would genuinely teach this faggot to feel shame.
He has been exposed as a furry degenerate who literally has gay sex with men, and the shame from that is nowhere near comparable to the shame he would feel if he was bullied into understanding how fucking below-novice level his code is. Its obvious he has never once done any form of professional software development at any level.

You still have to check if next_step with an if statement before ending dialogue though.
Do we? The switch case only has a "1" case, there's not a default case here (imagine error'ing, wouldn't be Mald, his code never errors out), it's either 1 or it's discarded. He basically knows beforehand it's always going to be "1", apparently. It's why I'm baffled at using a switch case here.

It doesn't necessarily always have to be one, whatever code is changing it is probably just outside the scope of this if statement.

His fan base are furry degenerates who are more retarded than yours truly. Few dozen paypiggies waste hundreds on twitch bits and kids his ass, he's the second Yandev to grace our blue planet with his coding genius with his unbreakable DRM and flawless character.

Jason is modern day Zeus of coding, no mere mortal can compare to him

Got curious about social blade stuff.

That's at least half a day's worth of signups on the SKG legislature.
And those are people who actively watched his shit, not ghost subs/followers
"Video Games Europe" has made a response on SKG.

Basically the obvious "nuh-uh" that Ross had already predicted publishers would say.
Here's who they are, practically every publisher:

How the fuck would it leave rights holders as liable?
Nah, there's more fun down the suffering path. I want to see him continue to double and triple down on this spergout. I want to see him cancel Heartbound because the EU regulations are obviously too onerous for him to work around with his games, so they all gotta go. I want to see him try to be cool gamedev streamer when he's taken a hardline position that functionally forbids him from making games, and the endless salt that he'll be spewing because of it.
I want to see him shed his lolcow status. But that aint gonna happen.

Couldn't help but notice something on that petition...

Petitions in United States never go anywhere due to corporations paying hundreds of dollars to get petitions/motions/bills (like SKG) overturned with help of Microsoft biggest corporation on the fucking planet alongside Sony and Nintendo would kill this petition and threat to their shekels if something like happened in United States, both houses would vote against it.

Inb4 big corporates stop selling their consoles and games in EU and UK to force consoomers to bend the knee

Its all the faggots who fuck you in the ass regularly lol

So what are the chances of Heartbound being in one of those bundle stores completely devaluing the game's price for keyshop sites to take over?
He'd have to finish it first
It would work too, if he wasn't a narcissist that couldn't help but talk about how all of the haters are wrong.
Not only did he double down, he tripled / quadrupled down by being a snide ass more and more every time.

This retard finally had some of the heat off him and he's putting himself back in the clown spotlight.

Breathes.

Disclaimer: have never used GML and avoid Java habitually.

The switch (next_step) statement isn't inherently redundant, as the next_step value looks to be set externally. This means the control flow is determined by logic somewhere else and the behaviour within this block depends on that. While technically functional, it introduces two architectural issues:
  • The first concern is locality. Assuming next_step is set externally, the behaviour of the block can't be understood in isolation. Anyone reading or modifying this has no idea where and how next_step is assigned. Our most plausible guess is the nightmare array, but without docstrings or comments we're flying blind.
  • The second and biggest concern is coupling. The logic here assumes that another script will reliably assign a valid next_step value before this block runs, reading from the nightmare array. No validation, fallback, or error handling if that assumption fails. This "dependency" makes the entire base a fragile Jenga tower to extend wherever next_step is used, and prone to silent errors.
All that being said, the use of a switch suggests a modular design, but we only see inflexible snippets where only one case is handled. Without additional cases or a default branch, the switch serves little purpose and functions more like a glorified if-statement (like I said, his code screams "I'm paranoid of this not running and don't know how Exceptions work"). It's over-engineered, and badly.

"Exceptions, you say?" - yes. I haven't seen any error handling or fallbacks. This might be fine for one dev but explains what's taking him so long "writing"; he's probably dealing with broken dialogue flow or unresponsive behaviour that's difficult to trace.

Why is he dressed in a suit and acting like an influencer CEO while filming outside in some third-world shithole?
Being dressed in a suit and acting like an influencer CEO is his schizo shtick, a part of his "professional developer" disguise. I have no clue why he chose to make the video in this specific location.

1. Remove online only requirement from games.
2. Remove DRM
3. Release source and server codes
4. Hand server control and game control to players.

Since you didn't like to read the petition here's the four bullet points
He'd have to finish it first
He will never will building back his twitch and YouTube simps

People like you for instance.
