Ok. This is everything we found. I deliberately am not mentioning anything brought up already that was dug up last night. This is specifically what we found in relation to Samantha D. Howard and her career as a Youtuber.

In general this was her start point. As far as we can tell, not too much happened with this one, though it lead to bigger and "better" things. Meet Senzawa.

This is her and arguably where she got popular. I will let @notorietus explain, as he put it pretty good:

You might recognize "oki doki boomer" (which you might have recognized from a video from someone who licked a ice cream tub at a public Walmart). Now, from here, she gets a contract from Hololive EN as Gawr Gura, which after multiple arguments about how stuff was managed, she retires, and then transitions into "saba the fish" (Sameko Saba)."

Thank you. As you can see, she got pretty popular back then, did some meme videos, all that. Then she got with Hololive and became Gura. That is where this story becomes frankly crazy. We need to go back to 2020 to plot the rise. Everyone is stuck inside. Suddenly Vtubers are a thing in the west. Gura among others become immensely fucking popular overnight. And eventually you start seeing stuff like this:
By all accounts i've heard, she was more or less the mascot of Hololive, the biggest Vtuber corpo in the west. She mostly stayed out of controversy. The corpos made sure her image stayed sparkling.

This, in my humble opinion, is why she left. She was rich. They made her a superstar. This wasn't enough though. She had realized her audience at that point. Pedophile Lolicons. So she created Saba. One of the best, if not THE best rigged model in Vtubing from a technical perspective. And she was going to use it to farm her audience for their pedo NEET bux. And it worked. When she returned as Saba, the memberships she was getting were endless. She also had merch ready to fucking go:

All of this was pre planned for months presumably. And it went off without a hitch. She now has over a million subs on her new channel. She is raking in the cash without Hololive taking a cut. And all she gave up was any shred of dignity she had left.

Keep in mind most famous loli artist trace their stuff from Real CSAM since Japan only outlawed it in 2015 and hoarders and artists kept their stashes close and likely still have it in mass circulation for their black market. Might be steering a little off topic, I just want to say how much I fucking despise the Hololive art style. It’s like the anime equivalent of CalArts bean mouth and drives me fucking insane that no one is pointing this out. It’s ugly, pug looking and the same face syndrome is off the charts. It’s infected the entirety of Japanese animation, and I’m tired of pretending that it looks any better than CalArts.

It didn’t start with Hololive, but I’m going to call it the “Hololive art style” because it’s more descriptive.

I mean there was a Japanese website called nyfco.org that had the past life information of pretty much every Hololive and Nijisanji vtuber. No address information but it had names, photos, and social media links. Someone posted Fauna's phonebook information there but it was removed by the admin. The comment sections under each vtuber's post were used as gossip threads to talk about them. The site was taken down at some point in 2023 or 2024 I believe. This was likely due to Hololive and Nijisanji requesting the owner remove it as it was a Japanese site. All this to say its not exactly uncommon for fans to know the person behind their favorite vtuber. Most Hololive members had a public online presence before Hololive.

Just because the information exists doesn't mean it is known. Nor is it compiled neatly into a package people can understand. If I shove a book in the tallest shelf of a massive library, and tell no one, it's not exactly well known or accessible even. Unless you know where that book is, and get a ladder, you won't find it.

He's just the janitor though. Its not his job to question why the book is there. He just cleans the joint. And the librarian? If nobody checks the book out, would they notice? Maybe they put it on that tall shelf on purpose so nobody would find it. Point being, information is fluid, and exists only as long as people know about it. If it isn't known, it might as well not exist, even if it is written down somewhere.

I remember seeing japanese guys read the mangas on the train, or in pepper lunch on their lunchbreaks. There was no smiling. The elementary schools over there are devoid of color and are more like what you would see in a professional office park. The ship workers on the base were pretty chill and were some of the few people who i suspected were generally happy over there. Alcohol is cheap and plentiful. It's a fun place to visit but when you truly look at it, it is one of the most dystopian cultures to have ever existed, and the manga fantasy weebshit is there to keep everyone in line. Tetsuya Yamagami, the man who shot shinzo abe, apparently does not read manga, but reads history and philosophy books. Every revolutionary is a reactionary to some degree. That's why they want people dumb and distracted, because eventually men with ethics and brains will try to improve society. First with positive action but if that is blocked things get spicy.

I argue the more dystopian the place, the bigger the escapism. This is by design. Hollywood went woke and and started pushing out crap. The circus got boring and the bread was stale. Next thing we know there is a soft populist revolution happening with a centrist orange man and centrist deportation squads. If these lumpenprole corpo gays keep fucking shit up we will see a hard right shift and the memes become real. Yes gamergate led to trump getting elected, but NOT in the ways the faggots say. People were not distracted, and when they paid attention they got ANGRY. It's why the corporate gays were created right after occupy wall street to hijack gay activism movements(pretty easy when they are nothing but faggot degenerate coomers) and turned them into a tax deductible means to silence opposition and sell product. It failed spectacularly and now we are here, on a forum about growing green, sometimes yellow, fuzzy fruit.

Being a regular Jap isn't fun. Your rent is high, you have mandatory overtime, you get taxed to hell and back, and most of Asia hates you. Anime is liberating. Forget lolicon for a moment. With anime and manga, you can be anything. Self insert into some badass character that's fighting bad guys, or questing to save the world. That is why things like Iseaki are so popular. Its literally leaving your shitty corpo life for a new exciting one. Its completely unrealistic (how the fuck are you, a normie, supposed to fight a demon lord or whatever) but for a moment, it lets the average Jap forget his life is shit and he has no wife.

I imagine he wasn't TOS friendly to begin with. As for him as a person, I've never watched him due to the name. When someone tells you what they are, believe them. Now he's feuding with Josh about Blockland shit over 15 years old when he was a fucking teenager. I literally, actually could not give a single fuck about any of that. There was a time when you could pass some of this off for irony. The start of 4chan was littered with pedo jokes. But at that time Chris Hansen was a big thing, and the main userbase of 4chan was teenagers, so it WAS gallows humor. It is now 2025. The Internet has changed. The main users of the Internet are adults. If someone is joking about pedo shit online, the chance of it being ironic is frankly low due to the change of circumstances. That doesn't mean jokes don't exist. Use your brain. But we went from a coin flip of finding a pedo, to i'd argue 70/30 with the demographics of the Internet as it is today.

Everyone views them as somehow above other Asians due to the fact that there one of the few countries that are friendly to America (not like they have a choice) that is also not a 3rd world country in Asia. Don't get it twisted either, SEAmonkeys are just as bad, the age of consent was like 12 in the Philippines until not that long ago, and there were similar laws around the South East. Here's a question- should we, as either Americans, europeans, etc, spread our values on this stuff (AoC, etc) to cultures who don't agree? In general, I'd say yes because pedo shit is just that awful, but then again people constantly bitch about the Muslims spreading their values in America and Europe. How do you keep it consistent? Is American exceptionalism just that strong that it just negates any arguement?
