Before the family drama, the only picture I saw of Lucas with his wife, or presumed to be his wife was a dinner with garandthumb that was posted as Instagram story. Looked just like his sister did in that photo.

The more I dive into this, the more I notice how active the Botkins are online. There is a website for almost every single family member.

What's the story on why he went from anti-gun to pro-gun? Not sure if I've heard that one. He just decide to move out to the middle of nowhere, or did he pick that range cause it's along a major interstate?

The more I dive into this, the more I notice how active the Botkins are online. There is a website for almost every single family member.

I'm curious about what happened to Western Conservatory for the Arts and Sciences. Many of the siblings seem to have been employed by that, right up until 2015, after which they stopped filing accounts.

Is that the point when they all jump ship and go to work for TRex arms? They seemed to be holding out Western Conservatory as some kind of moral/religious mission, aimed at edumucating Christian folks into appreciating Christian friendly art and science. And it looked like a fairly solid non-profit at the point when it disappears.

Presumably, they thought they could make more money selling firearms in Lucas's business? But it seems surprising that the whole family would all leap at the same time. Did none of them actually believe in their stated aims and goals? Or do those aims and goals matter less than the pursuit of the almighty dollar?

Ah, they weren't making any money at it. Despite over $100k in sales in 2013, the outgoings were bigger than their incomings in 2014 and 2015. The brothers they brought in to run TRex Arms seem to have been abject failures at their previous management project.

A common thing I've noticed is that these high profile ultra religious families is they tend to have African level scams/intra-family money transfers going on. As soon as one family member has a come-up there is an expectation that he funnels money up to the patriarch and gets/gives all the brothers and cousins jobs. It's like having a king, if the guy at the top is great it works great, but if he's a shitter it turns into the Duggars real fast.

He seems like one of those guys who when something's really bothering him he lets it out as "a joke", and is just better at keeping a layer of cover on it because he's less autistic than average for the community.

At this point, I do think he limpwristed the FK - if you wanna know the truth about it. I bet I could shoot an entire box holding the gun upside down and firing with my pinky and get no jams because I hold it LIKE A MAN.

I don't think anyone reasonable cared about him beyond his ownership and knowledge of scarce slavshit, he and his gaggle of ghouls and creeps kept to their own like some shitty Final Fantasy House. If the /k/ommando meetups had any sort of drama it was because of him or someone strictly adjacent.

The only good reason to ever be into slav shit was because it was adequately functional (you can do a lot worse than a side rail AK and a western optic) and cost like a third of western weapons and ammo back in the 90s and 00s. Now it's generally more money for less performance so all the people into it are autistic, and most of them not in the fun way.

I like my vz58, but it's just a toy with the insane prices of 7.62x39. You can't shoot it enough to seriously train with it, especially to maintain any kind of proficiency in shooting with the stock folded - which is the biggest draw over an AR IMO.

I will comment on something adjacent to this: I have a sincere hope that when a difficult time comes, these autistic niggers will be wiped out by hunger and diseases. And I truly mean a difficult time comes that requires mental sanity and working together in order to survive. Call it a "culling" by nature, to heal from this cancer established by society.

Never seen him malding like that, though - you don't put out a video response to criticism, real or imagined, unless it's gotten to you. Seems like he took that more personally than he took the entire Karl Kerfuffle.
