She was 12 when she started birth control?!?!?! TWELVE???? The responsible thing to do??? At TWELVE?? WTAF???

It's not like Ariel was some ghetto kid getting fucked by her uncles at 9.

Then again, I've always felt Jazz was molested. Simpton is sure showing that some bad touches happened to him.

Jeannette is a degenerate sex pest that needs to be put down.

Mom started her only daughter on BC so that the mostly-male household wouldn't have to deal with periods. Just Jeanette having zero interest in actually mothering any of her children besides the golden child. Possibly also the attitude like spaying a dog "we'll start you on this now so I don't have to supervise or think about you".

"I started birth control at 12 in case I was raped and got pregnant because that's the responsible thing to do"

The whole family is so fucked and those kids never got a chance.

Or rather, that Jazz didn't have to and then ask why he didn't have one too.

Is it possible she meant to write 21 instead of 12? That's the only way this makes sense to me. I have heard of girls around 13 years old taking birth control, but it is done for the purpose of regulating significantly heavy, long and irregular periods, which greatly disrupt their lives and cause anemia (sometimes the periods are so long that they menstruate more days than not in a given month). I have never heard about a 12-13 years old taking birth control "because that's the responsible thing to do". There is no reason (other than the one mentioned above) to take birth control if you are not sexually active, and I sure hope she wasn't sexually active at the age of 12.

On the other hand, the way she talks about learning about her cycles and how freeing it is makes it seem like she had never experienced a natural cycle without the effects of birth control... I don't know, honestly. It's very weird. I guess it is possible she is lying for political reasons, but if she is this is a stupid lie because no one takes birth control at this age for unmedical reason, this is bizarre.

In the video she said she has been on the pills for 16 years, followed by 7 years without. If she started at 21 she'd be 44 by now. By comparison, Jaron was born in 2000 and is 24 years old.

The replies on Instagram are all "Yes Kween!" retardation. No one questions her on the age.

Why are you surprised? Jeanette had already started transing Jazz at that point, so I'm not surprised that she'd push Ariel on birth control.

And again, I really wonder what Ari thinks of what happened to her baby brother. It's posts like this that makes me somewhat hopeful that she'll put it all together and break away. It's just hard to imagine that she wouldn't start putting things together if she realises that she was far too young to take a decision about birth control at age 12.

It's kind of amazing that such an ugly family ever became famous(ish). I thought modern society was much more superficial, and these recent videos of Starburst and co seem to have showed me wrong. Come on, modern society, fix yourself!

My apologizes, I've missed the first second of the video.

Utterly bizarre.

FYI Birth control is (or was?) recommended for teen girls with endometriosis. I was on it at the same age for that reason and I knew a few girls on it as well.

Also regular BC doesn't take away periods, it lessens them, makes them painless and you can control the timing to some extent.
I included endometriosis under "heavy periods" in my head lol but frankly I should have said something like "medical conditions of the female reproductive system which could be helped with birth control" to cover all the possible cases. I am actually quite surprised that you received it as such young age, though. In my (admittedly limited) experience, it takes time until women/teenage girls are being diagnosed with it. have a family member who has it and she only received her diagnosis at 21/22 years old, although she had the symptoms pretty much from the start, and according to her, this is pretty common (the late diagnosis, I mean). I guess it depends on where you live and all that.

Anyway, the bottom line is that you are not supposed to take birth control unless you have a medical condition or you are sexually active in general, it's just really weird for a 12 years old to take it "because that's the responsible thing to do". I've never heard such a thing.

I know that birth control don't usually take away periods but I think what she (Ari) has meant is that she never experienced natural cycles that are not timed and regulated by birth control, this is what she now started to experience for the first time, I think.

Some of ya'll raycists have never encountered neurotic jewish mothers before, and it shows. @Tasty Tatty I know that line was meant to be exaggerated and insane, but it's unironically the experience of many jewish girls in Prog blue hives.

Imagine an upbringing of shrill "HUHRRY and take ya pills, covah ya drink, and hold ya rape whistle!" and that's the origin story of women on tiktok saying they'd feel safer with wild bears than men, or screaming in their cars about the latest way Drumph is genociding them (not letting other neurotic mothers 5 states away castrate their children).

Again, Ari was raised by a woman who choose to have her sons dick chopped off so that she could monitor the process of him inserting a plastic rod into his wound. For the purpose of being able to be penetrated by other men for their pleasure! And you're shocked she would have her daughter on the pill at 12?!

It's definitely because of some mundane period bullshit that was freaking out her square NPC florida Amerijew parents. Remember, Jeanette be tripping. all the time:

I thought she might be a naïve girl entangled with a sped against her better judgment, but this video revealed she and her best judgment are perfectly matched with Sanitation. She's a true believer indoctrinated retard who talks with her hands. They're made for each other. Hope she likes flaccid and disappointing since that's Sandbar's way of life, not just how his penis dysfunctions.
Erm actually Sandringham does NOT have erectile dysfunction; he simply empathises with those who DO suffer and sells them boner pills WHICH HE DOES NOT NEED BUT IT'S OK IF YOU DO

You don't have to have a period on BC if you/your crazy mom don't want to.

"Ari, is your special time cupboard refilled? No? What do you mean, NO?? You KNOW your period starts on the 3rd EVERY MONTH, so WHY didn't you go to the store by the 2nd? You know HOW BUSY I AM TAKING CARE OF YOUR SISTER and if YOU don't keep your tampon shopping ON. SCHEDULE. YOU'RE CREATING TOO MUCH STRESS FOR ME. How can you DO this to me??? IT'S JUST...TOO! MUUUCH!!!!!" [said with tightly shut eyes while screaming and holding the knife with which she was cutting vegetables for dinner]

In the 00s the birth control pills were probably overly pushed at girls the moment they got pains and any hormonal acne. Some girls it was probably worth it, but it was given to everyone for mild issues too, as in 1-2 pimples around that time of the month. It was also given to girls almost like puberty blockers, without properly informing mothers and daughters about the potential issues short and long term. It was a joke in my highschool and a meme on social media at one point that if a pubescent girl went to the doctor for a headache she'd come back with a prescription for birth control pills. In my area there was no problem for insurance covering teenage hormonal problems using it and specific brands pushed so I think it was a money thing too. Just an easy cure for all with financial incentives.
Also it's easier to give a child something to help with the pain that to tell them to wait out puberty because the pain may lessen if they don't have any medical issues. And unfortunately as kids get chubbier, they're having worse hormonal issues and the pill helps. I think a big issue is women aren't told their periods do stabilize after a point and to take a break every once in a while to check in and see. You run out and your doc just gives you the next refills. Can't take the pill? Get on the hormonal IUD. No break ever from the day you start until you want kids is effectively what they give you.

Honestly Ari's story is probably going to be heard more as women get enough information to make effective decisions about their menstrual, hormonal, and other female health issues. Too many women stayed on it past the point of probably needing the pill for period pains. Also, many women are honestly fat and need to lose the weight to get their hormones on track but doctors don't want to say it.
Thanks to a push for SEX BASED MEDICINE due to "terfs" we now have more knowledge to empower ourselves. But I doubt Ari would be allowed to say that part

Absolutely. And in countries where those things are covered by government healthcare, the implant or injection was pushed on them just as hard.

Never made this connection but now that I think about it yeah every fat girl I met since Y2K was on some form of hormonal BC at some point, usually from a very young age or before ever even thinking about sex.
