FOIA and PIO requests take time, usually a few weeks. They are legally bound to respond within a set time limit, however case files may not be public if its considered part of an on-going investigation.

I'm also pretty sure Gig Harbor Police Department cover's Jason's town. You can always call the non-emergency number and ask to speak with an on-duty Sergeant to double check if the address is within their jurisdiction. If so, ask about the process for FOIA or PIO and how to submit paperwork pertaining to all police reports to that address within the last year. Police officers will not give you any details of any case over the phone unless you are the person who filed the report, so don't bother asking,

When filing your FOIA request, be very specific and not overly broad, because it may end up getting rejected if they interpret your request to include additional bullshit like incoming phone calls, emails, and surveillance footage which is difficult or impossible to obtain depending on retention policies. Ask specifically for "Officer Dispatches, Wellness checks, Offense reports and Arrest reports" to the address.

Its only been a few days, so I am simply giving you guys an update. They might still get back to me, but it wasn't like I sent in a formal legal subpoena for info or some shit, I used their web portal. I honestly think Hardin could easily get the records but that would cost null money.

I finally watched this and it's such a "shitty" system that they made work well. It's unorthodox but simple and fans can extract the files and edit them to their heart's content aka hackable. Planning and commitment go a long way.

There are two locations Mald has addresses of. One in Tacoma and one in Pierce county.
We'd need to check both locations.

Also, a few pages back I posted a link to a crime report for washington, but it is only updated up to 6/29 we have to wait for a week or two for it to update for the first week of july.
