Chibi is legitimately a child in his attitude. He never learned what being an adult is, he is everything a grown man shouldn't be. He got stuck at 15 or 16 years old, when you ideally should begin to learn the consequences of youthful arrogance and selfishness. He never did. It's obvious he's fully aware of how he behaves is unacceptable. It's why he's always making excuses and says he'll do better but he doesn't. It's also why he eye rolled both his mom and his brother and gave them that dumb shit eating grin when they complained about how loud he was being at 3am while streaming. What Cheebs wants, is what he wants and he'll do anything to get it. Anybody who gets in his way is the problem, not him.
It's even worse (also gayer) than that. Your work group is basically your friend circle. It's goes beyond just having drinks with your coworkers after work. Cheebs will initially get a pass, but as time goes on, he'll be expected to start going out with them when work is over.
This is only half true, because more often he only repeatedly says what he wants, and how much he wants it, but never actually makes any real effort towards achieving it. The Japan arc has been pretty unique in Chibi's history because it's the one thing he's really stuck with and now looks like it might actually happen, albeit it's probably going to turn out nothing like he imagines.
