How do you have absolutely no savings when your mommy was covering your grocery bills and mortgage while making $80k/yr? I know the answer is his constant trips to Japan and being a gigantic consoomer, but it still floors me how stupid and irresponsible he is.
An even bigger question is how the fuck are you going to move country if you're already behind on bills? Like idk if you're broke then the fucking last thing you should be doing is moving country? I mean he's moving over there and will have no food, probably have to pay an advance for the rent, fuck knows if the apartment is furnished or not and he will have no money to rectify any of those problems. Idk how wages work in Japan but I fucking hope that he's getting paid weekly otherwise he is going to be absolutely fucked. I cannot fathom thinking about moving country if you can't even pay what you owe on your current bills. But then again autism is one hell of a drug?

That's gonna be a hell of a commute doordashing orders to Detroit once he's in Japan.
"So guys, you all know that while I'm in Japan, I'm still DoorDashing to help make money to afford my rent-a-girlfriends and paying to have girls sleep on my bed with me at night, so I decided to go ahead and take a loan to buy a private jet." - Chibi Epstein
Why didn’t he give a 2 weeks notice at his old job if he’s nowhere near going to Japan? Is he speeding running poverty?
Because he found a job hocking insurance that allowed him to work his own hours as long as he met his month quota. More time gooning to ewhores is more important than money to Cheebs apparently. I would have been saving up money like a whore if I was in Cheebs position.
as suspicious as his Japan gig is I feel like this insurance one is somehow an even bigger scam
It most likely is. You need to pass an exam to get qualified to sell Health and/or Life insurance in the USA. He's probably working for some 3rd party business that works for an Insurance company.

Cheebs thinks his debts will be wiped when he moves to Japan, so he probably plans on paying as little as possible on all his bills and then ignoring them when he's in Japan. He thinks if he's out of the country then the people he owes money to can't collect on it.

Japanese apartments, assuming he gets one, come unfurnished. And I mean 100% unfurnished. No lights, no fridge, no nothing. You need to get all those things.

If he gets a furnished one it's going to cost him twice as much.

Is there Doordash or equivalant in Japan? Do they accept gaijin?
Yes but restaurants have their own delivery drivers. Usually decked out in scooters like this:

Even small time places have somebody or two on staff to do deliveries.

That thing on the back? It's there to make sure your food doesn't get too shaken up like if you've ordered a bowl of ramen.

So what's the point when each location has their own delivery drivers?

And oddly enough some of these places, like Domino's, don't have a walk-in option. They only do delivery. Some places do but you have to check in advance.

EDIT: Additional info.

the only caveat to that is if he got the apartment or if some company got it for him. I would assume if it's through a recruitment agency like what teachers go through it might be different. Either way it is still fucking incredibly retarded even if it comes furnished.

I mean even in the west it's pretty fucking hard to make a proper living off of those jobs. That's the entire point. They're designed in a way that lets them pay people as little as possible. Are you really going to be able to make a living off of something like that in a city known for how expensive everything is? Also I'm no expert so this is pure speculation, but don't you need confirmed employment to get citizenship in Japan? Or is that for a work visa? I forget which one it is. I don't think that the government would take a 0 hour contract with no real wage to fill that requirement.

There's absolutely furnished appartments in Japan, some rentals are aimed at students so you'll often see them there. Sometimes company provided, etc. But if cheebs is already looking for apartments it looks like his company won't help him.

That's a work visa, he needs confirmed employment in Japan that will provide him with a Certificate Of Eligability (COE) which will be traded for a visa when he arrives. I'm pretty sure he mentioned that part was already covered from his work. He can get into Japan, but if I recall he only has a month to register for an address, so getting an apartment at the last minute is a bad idea.

TLDR I think his Japan misadventure will happen unless he fucks up money or housing really bad.

There's several food delivery services like DoorDash in Japan, the two most popular being Demaecan and UberEats. There's also a ton of foreigners delivering for them on bikes. Most of them are Southeast Asian. The best part about these shitty food delivery jobs in Japan is unlike the West where you at least get tips, tipping culture is not really a thing, so you're going to have to work your ass off to even made minimum wage.
I guess it's appealing to Japanese that don't want to deal with the shitty work hours and deranged supervisors that the typical salaryman career has to offer.
