That said, I do have to agree with the Redditors here. Terry Davis sucking his brothers dick at age seven does not take away from the genius of TempleOS. Neither does this. Yet I do want to point out how Code of Conducts reach beyond the project and allow project members to be kicked out due to external behavior, they could make a case for this.
Will anything happen? No. FOSS faggots kicking out perverts would be hypocritical at best and their spergy rationalist minds can grasp that all too well.

I can't really agree with that. Kids are dumb and impulsive, so we're lenient with them doing something immoral once or twice, but if they're doing it regularly then that's a strong sign they're just fucked in the head and will continue to be as an adult. It's like torturing animals as a kid. Like if a kid hurt an animal once or twice in the heat of some moment like being encouraged by other kids, then he could probably regret it and grow up into a functioning adult. But if a kid is regularly going out alone and torturing squirrels and stray cats or whatever, then that's straight-up psychopath behavior and there's no surprise if he grows up to kill at least one person as an adult. And if say a 13 year old gets bad ideas being dumb and horny and does something sexual with a sibling a year or two younger who goes along with it, and then afterwords decides that was fucked up and never does it again than sure, in that case both sides could probably grow up to be normal adults who just have an awkward memory to deal with. But if you're raping multiple younger siblings daily for like 4 years straight then you're a psychopath who at best is just smart enough as an adult to not do things that would get you caught, and would never trust you with anything.

Sorry to change the topic, but I just watched Lunduke's video on the chomo and Jordan Petridis, and Lunduke unironically accuses Petridis of "blood libel" (interestingly, Jews used to call it the blood accusation) because he was complaining about Israelis LITERALLY KILLING PALESTINIAN CHILDREN. Those Christian children they killed must weigh on them very heavily for them to bring it up in this case.

That is exactly how they come across. Anticapitalista, their head dev and admin, does tow the typical fagass line of "muh no raycism and biguts allowed on muh forum", but that's pretty much standard etiquette for 99.99% of forums these days. Still far, far afield from a full CoC. I am torn between them, PCLinuxOS and Artix as my new main OS. AntiX and PCLOS are the two biggest 100% sysd-free distros out there, everything else is pretty much just one man projects with esoteric management systems like Obarun or Joborun. Artix is chud anti sysd software but theys still use elogind and dbus. I'm going to have to compromise on something either way, either on the software or political end. Such is life, I suppose. On that note, any PCLOS fags here that can spare some thoughts?

Now, now, it's proper to acknowledge your enemies. I think @Ferryman is romanticizing things a bit, but there were people on the left who had a flair about them and fire in them. They were still retarded, but they weren't your modern leftists either. I think there is still a strain of both Bakunin and Marxists types who hate modern leftists more than the right does.

How solid are they? Like, will I wake up one morning with a Palestine or Ukraine flag on my desktop? That's always issue with these people, they don't know where to stop.

There has been a lot of idle talk about the quality of XLibre code, in particular about the quality of Enrico Weigelt’s contributions and the reverts proper Xorg maintainers had to do.

But many has been based on misinformation and lies, that’s why I’ve decided to take a deep look at all the branches (both of Xorg and XLibre), and here’s my summary.

Conclusion​

I’m not going to assert any conspiracy theory.

All I’m going to say is that if there was some institutional failure due to multiple organizations having a vested interest in making Xorg fail, they wouldn’t need to conspire, all they would need to do is precisely what they are current doing: neglect Xorg development and don’t release the majority of patches from the community for years (4 years and counting).

Unfortunately for them, XLibre contains all these patches, and more.

As far as I can tell, pretty solid. Anticapitalista has been developing it at least since it became a standalone distro back in 2007, and he was likely a dev for MEPIS before that, which is the now-defunct distro that AntiX and its sister distro MX originate from. I've been lurking their forums for the past few weeks and it looks like they've done a good job of quarantineing their politisperging to a separate part of the forum. Even on the brief thread they had about XLibre, instead of sperging out and calling Enrico muh nazi, they just discuss concerns about Wayland/Systemd creep. That's a plus in my book for sure. At the very least they don't appear to be deranged enough to do supply chain attacks. They strike me as people that stick to their own and consider their users as part of that 'in-group', so despite their overtly political nature, I personally can't see them burning almost 20 years of goodwill for some flaccid protest. If nothing else I can definitely jive with their anti corpo agenda.

I'll probably flip a coin to decide whether I go for AntiX or PCLOS tonight. Both are definitely super appealing as far as having absolutely zero systemd code goes.

Maybe I'm just being optimistic, but it would make sense if they did know, unless he pulled some fake name bullshit (someone upthread said he did, unless I misread shit pertaining to another user.)
