I don't understand the desire to have six children, I have one and that is more than enough to keep our hands full. I see these couples with five, six children and think, 'how can you possibly be keeping up with all their wants/needs at the same time'.

When it comes to prayers of petition, yes. But the Catechism of the Catholic Church also outlines five main types of prayer in CCC 2626–2643:

1. Blessing and Adoration: Prayer that acknowledges God’s greatness and gives Him glory, expressing humility and reverence (CCC 2626–2628).
2. Petition: Asking God for forgiveness, needs, or graces, often rooted in trust and dependence on Him (CCC 2629–2633).
3. Intercession: Praying on behalf of others, seeking God’s help for their needs (CCC 2634–2636).
4. Thanksgiving: Expressing gratitude for God’s gifts and blessings, as exemplified in the Eucharist (CCC 2637–2638).
5. Praise: Glorifying God for who He is, regardless of what He does, celebrating His goodness and majesty (CCC 2639–2643).

Link related describes the situation as I see it. I never own something unless I can afford it outright and had the same approach to children; but after seeing so many crackhouse babies grow up to be decent people after solid parenting from even one figure I realized there is no reason not to.

I'm not going to knock the quality>quantity approach, but if anyone is considering not having kids because they don't think they're "good enough" yet. Don't worry, as long as you care you will be.

This, combined with billy graham's use of media and charisma, and Falwell's moral prognostications in the wake of the moral turpitude of the sexual revolution shaped the 90s and 2000s low protestants. This is the road out of which modern americanism arises.

These three, of Lindsey, Graham and Falwell, are whom all of modern "conventional" american christian, that is low protestant, thought spring from. The under-current is the madness of pentecostalism, which goes harder if you'd will it.

I do not take Cerberus to be an analogy of the Trinity. On the contrary, after appealing to it as thought-experiment, I lay it aside as inadequate. So what role does it play? Simply as a springboard for reflection on the Trinity! It’s a great way to launch discussion about how three persons can be one being. No ... I am an Epsicopalian Apostate. I apostasized from the Episcopal Church after it went full tranny and endorsed hormones and surgeries for children "regardless of age" during its 2022 conference of bishops. At the 2022 conference, they passed Resolution 66 "supporting access to gender-affirming care “in all forms (social, medical, or any other) and at all ages."

Well, the Bible says we can judge a doctrine by its fruits. The doctrine of the Holy Spirit has produced fruits of spiritual pride and destruction. People think God lives inside of them and talks to them. People think God told them to get gay married or God told them to go into usurious debt. (John Calvin, for example, was a big fan of usury and vociferously argued in favor of its licitness and appropriateness.) This is why Protestant America is a usurious death-trap. No, I'm not equating Protestantism with Calvinism; rather, I am using Calvin as a representative example of the widespread tolerance for and even love of usury within "Christian" America.

So we have sexual hypocrisy. We have financial hypocrisy. We have hypocrisy of all kinds. Where do you see ANY evidence that the Holy Spirit indwells ANYONE?!?!?!?!
