The discussion of The Weather Channel and forecasting/scaremongering is one I'd like to hear more opinions on. What do you guys think of them?

I don't watch them on TV but their associated website, weather dot com, is basically a tabloid with occasional weather reports.

I don't know where that information comes from. I find as I get older I can detect incoming rain by subtle changes in the air and the movement of trees. What possible benefit would be gained from confusing the provenance of information they were a couple of hours from releasing anyway?

epstein was an open secret before his capture but was not well known. they made the general public aware of who epstein was when he was arrested in 2019 and made a big deal about his client list. he was arrested right as the biden campaign was starting and i think he gave people some clever ideas that didn't work out they way they wanted it to. the carrot was always dangling from the stick from the get-go and it was obviously meant to distract from more incriminating and direct wrongdoing by more powerful and influential people

• the entire internet exploded overnight to meme "epstein didn't commit suicide" so hard that you couldn't escape people selling "epstein didn't kill himself" merchandise.
• then for four years the biden administration says "its about as real as hunter biden smoking crack, it's not, there is no list"
• then trump cabinet picks spend a year campaigning on "we all saw him smoke crack, we're going to release the client list"
• then trump's cabinet gets into office and then says "uhh actually i guess there was no client list" making them look retarded

i dont think its unreasonable to look at that and just assume it was a psyop created to project people's disdain for hunter's crack smoking and prostitute fucking behavior onto a safely compartmentalized hot potato they could kick down the road to the next administration and that just so happened to be trump again

Got it. I misunderstood. You're asking for Epstein pre-release specifically. I forget sometimes, you were in the armed forced, so you're aware of how this stuff works. Sounds like we agree on 4chan as an info laundering front.

Possibly, it was so 4chan could maintain legitimacy as a clandestine-like alt-outlet. So a limited hangout, basically but in this case, we get to feel like we're part of an insider group getting access to secret, forbidden knowledge before anyone else. Info laundering fronts, since they have to peddle things which may turn out to be false (see Qanon), need those sorts of "leaks" occasionally keep street cred.

My stance has always been that you integrate the ones that are currently here since they're already important to the economy (by integrate, I mean that they gain full labor rights and protects as they would become US citizens, they would be indebted to the government for the cost of doing so without interest). Any new illegal immigrants should be deported.

Over a million have already left. That's probably close to 1% of our working-age adult population. Yet, where's the ensuing economic depression?
