He'd prefer shorter ones bc the family isn't used to him being away that long.
In addition to all the reasons his bitching is weak and LAME*, consider the fact that his children have never in their entire lives had a dad who did a full day's work.

Also screams creepy codependency and control in that household. And possibly that Kayla truly is a fragile nutcase incapable of managing a day with the kids she chose to create and has had 17 years to learn something about.

*lol the whining and twisting and excuse-making. What a goldbricker.

Nick really has the gall to haggle with his probation officer on the terms of his community service. "Yeah, I know this is a punishment for a crime that I committed, but, like I have something that no other criminal has: a family."

Nick tried to haggle with the BAR or whoever was wrist slapping him over his law stuff.

Nick haggles about everything he can, because he believes he is so smart and wonderful they will agree to his demands for less punishment just because he doesn't think he did anything wrong.

This normally works for him because most people don't want to handle his exhausting Karening and probably do go easy on him.

Also you absolutely can do court ordered community service in less than 8 hours at a time.
Tbf, Nick said his PO pushed back by asking why he couldn't do 8 hours - a good question.

It's nice to know that his PO is aware that Nick doesn't have anything much going on all day. I'm sure that if he was a manager at Popeyes doing 40 hour weeks,, the PO might be more flexible.

What are you talking about? It was so creepy and uncomfortable I couldn't watch it for more than 2 minutes.
I dunno what to tell you. I was laughing really hard. Say what you want about Nick's cooking at least he "academically" knows about technique.

Kurt made a "gumbo" without a roux and pressure cooked a pound of precooked shrimp for 20 minutes. He deserves at least a month in a Louisiana prison for that alone. (Worse, Kurt's weird inner-snobbery makes him ignorant to the art of cooking. He just looked up an Instapot recipe for gumbo and acted like an expert.)

Also, Nick was in a good mood last night. His laughing at Kurt felt was less mean spirited than in the past.

Tbf, Nick said his PO pushed back by asking why he couldn't do 8 hours - a good question.

I wonder if Nick asked if he could do half days or if he went 'hey so whats the minimum I can do at a time' and his PO went 'why not just do 8 hours and get it done?'

If Nick had done 4 hours twice a week since he got sentenced I think he'd be done?

But he waited until the last moment apparently and now he needs them done, so the PO isn't feeling very generous about letting Nick string it along.

I don't think he HAS to do them before August, but I think he was told doing them would look good for getting off on jail time and now he's realizing how hard the internet will bully him for doing time and he's panicking.

WinBy2 just said on his stream that Nick finally paid him. If only the Minnesota government had an internet show they could use to shame him into paying his many debts.

Really shows his priorities. CLE fees? Waste of money. A multi hour cut of his gay ex lover mentioning him? Priceless.

Skill Development Activities: Community service tasks may also include activities that help probationers develop new skills, such as carpentry, gardening, or other trades. These skills can help them gain employment and reintegrate into society.
That last line made me chuckle. These program runners may have helped tard trash become contributing members of society, but they’ve never encountered tard trash like Nick.

So an hour long compilation of his ex-boyfriend is worth $1000 or 20 topless photos of his slatternly wife. It seems like everything THE TOE touches turns to gold.

He touched a $199 fridge he used to refuel after banging the living Hell out of skelly's wife? It becomes $1000.
He said something on stream? An hour of that is worth $1000.
He shared some images? People paid $250 a head to see them.

Meanwhile skelly's trollop twat's photo is worth $50. Tragic. Embarassing. PATHETIC.

I presume it's legal to film people doing community service. If any of you live nearby and bring me pictures videos of balldoman picking up trash, I'll pay you lots of cash. And by that I mean I'll put a winner sticker on your post.
yeah it's legal, paparazzi would take pictures of celebrities doing community service. Nick is just a small town cuck after all.

What a surprise, he’s using his “ailment” to claim he shouldn’t be made to do manual labor as part of community service.

I think it's entirely possible his ailment is an actual heart issue from his drug and alcohol abuse. And hopefully so.

And I'm confident his family will come to find relief in the time he is away for community service, and lament the completion of his 80 hours.

Community service humiliation photos would be awesome ... Just add black bars over the eyes and bam privacy! Well tv level privacy at any rate. Tee shirt Idea " I did x hours Community service" Tee.. with 80 hours broken into 2\4\6\8 hours x off and initial by PO.. Don't loose the tee or you have to start over.

He asked his PO if he must do 8 hour shifts because he doesn't want to. He'd prefer shorter ones bc the family isn't used to him being away that long.
This has popped up as a quote several times overnight, but here's the thing:
"I will be us."

But what Nick actually means is, "I have to be around my family or they might start to talk and realize what a horrible monster I really am to everyone." It's classic narc shit. He can't control the narrative if they aren't there.

AS IF IT MATTERS. The wife, Kayla Rekieta, the slatternly whore, is a drugged out zombie and the kids are black mirror zombies.

Edit: punctuation for clarity.

So his PO has finally corralled him into saying that time is running out, you need to get your hours in asap...
I get keeping the idiots in line is part of a POs job; but come on man, don't press him, he's an adult, let him stand tall before a judge and explain how his heat allergy keeps him from performing the most simple labor. Then play videos of him hot-tubbing, and ask him to explain the difference.

Also, it was 80 hours Nick. That's just two weeks of a regular job. Your family doesn't need to be so worried of you disappearing for 9am to 5pm or whatever. The court could ask why you're needed but Kayla isnt; and I'd love to hear tou throw her under the bus as a useless eater.

Nick is SO whiny. Everyone in the world with community service has to shut up and just get it done*. But Nick - charged with a high-level felony he got a soft landing for - thinks he should get (more) special treatment because...? Imagine trying to prove you're above everyone else by pointing out how weak you are - my heat allergy, my neck, my back, my dysfunctional family that can't go a day without me sleeping past noon at home.

He got off with far less than he deserved and still deserves. He's the classic "give them an inch, and they'll take a yard." More effort avoiding responsibility than it would take to be responsible. His life is about shortcuts. What a weakling.

* SOME people even volunteer to do this stuff, shocker. A lot of people do it out of a sense of civic community and human obligation, and gratefulness for what they have. That's a personal choice, but his resistance even when compelled shows he's the last person who should be on a moral high-horse about anything. He's a taker, a net negative for society.

(The CLE is also only so he can sue his gay ex lover)
He doesn't need to be a lawyer to sue someone.
