I'll admit at one point I was on the non-binary train at one point in my life, and to be honest what this comic displays is the reason I decided to quit and go on to think the whole concept was stupid. What's the point of an extra label if no one can fucking tell from first glance? What's the point if I have to tell everyone? Whats the point of making life more difficult for myself and others just because I feel a certain way about myself? And funnily enough, my story is almost the opposite of this one. My friends and acquaintances were so insistent on my "pronouns" and keeping them right and correcting each other that it genuinely gave me enough second hand embarrassment to stop asking it of them. Just use whatever you automatically think of when you see me, because it's easier for everyone, and in the end I remain the same person. We can be whatever the hell we want regardless of what our fucking pronouns are, none of this stuff was ever necessary and I'm sick and tired of it!!!

That's the big change, but there are other things in the bill that are just as legitimately problematic. It's a shitshow and a lot of people who are struggling are going to lose their medical coverage.
