Sony hate thread

It took 3.5 years for the 3DS to get themes, but at least the default theme was acceptable. I’m still mad that Nintendo went out of their way to make a themes menu for the Switch only to have Black and White and nothing else.
I still say to this day that Nintendo dropped the fucking ball HARD on this. You have a screenshot option and a picture folder you can access on the fly, and yet they decide to NOT have a setting similar to "right click, set as desktop"? COMPLETE waste of potential.
Themetism is embarassing. I don't get why anyone normal would even notice, let alone care.
If game companies stuck to just making consoles that loaded games immediately and not decide to turn them into a poor man's PC, then we wouldn't need the whole "themes" in the first place. But since we don't live in that better timeline, and considering the game companies themselves started that shit first by offering themes in the beginning, it is 100% justified that people would want more themes and to have full customization of their home screen.

So, why is there more discussion about nintendo the past few pages in the SONY hate thread when there's already a perfectly good nintendo hate thread (formerly known as the switch 2 thread) never more than a couple spots away from this one?
Because half of us are banned from there for rightfully raging for Nintendo and its followers "too much".

I'm just gonna be blunt, themes are neat, but I don't get the obsession since I spend most of my time in  games rather than the home menu when I'm using my gaming console.
My ps4 theme was the Persona 5 theme for years. The jazy relaxing music was always good to hear when you start your console.

>formerly
It was the hate thread from day one, just look at the subtitle. Hell, look at the OP’s username.

Ostensibly, at one point, the thread was actually discussing and speculating things, before it turned into the thread version of this:

every day.webp
