I can't help but find it deliciously ironic that the members of #ChangetheChannel tried to paint Doug Walker as this inept egomaniac, yet most of them were just as inept and arrogant. Projection much?
I know that's why #ChangetheChannel is so damn funny. Watching the inept fight among themselves is high quality entertainment.

Most of them were worse. Doug has no problem laughing at himself and taking an L, even if it was hard. Look at how he reacted to people mocking his Bart's Nightmare Let's Play vs how pissy Lewis gets over Lightbringer.

Alison, Lewis, Noah, Kaylyn, they were all egomaniacs convinced they were more special than they really were, and couldn't handle the reality that they weren't outside of their little circle.

Please. He just covers mainstream bullshit unless it's a Patreon sponsored one. Lewis doesn't seem to be interested in comic books as a genre, just a very limited range of them.

My guess is Lewis was picked on at school and because of that any kind of mockery immediately gets him defensive.

He mentioned him when talking about how in fairness Superman is not the first Superhero. However giving how little reprinted of it, him covering obscure Golden age issues that might not cost to much on Ebay from obscured series might help people get a more clear idea of what the golden age of comics was really like(Batman and Superman were populare for sure but the period was way more diverse than a normies might think).

He could just go online and use scans of comics from the Golden age. Or, you know, do actual episodes on the history of comics and give some actual information in the process.

But no. He'd rather sit there being an unfunny douche and snark at the camera.

Im genuinely stunned that Linky hasn't covered The phantom even though it's peak pulp and quite popular in Europe. You'd think someone who has a "cultured" mindset would be open to more euro type comics.
Fun fact:
until just a few years ago, the Phantom was one of the most popular superheores in the world... outside of the US.
I beat that fellow swedes, finns, italians etc etc farms grow up with the Phantom.

And pretend to be a sci fi superhero. Don’t forget that.

The Phantom is huge in Europe and basically unknown over here.

Of course the movie with Billy Zane didn't help matters considering it bombed.

There was also that cyberpunk Phantom cartoon.
Yeah Phantom 2040. The character designs were just odd and made everybody look eight feet tall.

There was also an attempt to modernize it in some live action movie about 20 years ago or something.

No. Phantom 2040:

The Phantom has a large fanbase amongst Papua New Guinea tribesmen, who paint him on their shields.
